NRL 2018 best finishes

Post by jirskyr » Wed 14 Nov, 2018 12:21 pm

NRL best finishes - unfortunately 2 Tigers losses in there. Would have thought they could have found space for at least 1 of our wins over either Roosters or Melbourne?

Titans edge Raiders

Munster rolls Rabbits

Johnson stuns Raiders

SKD soars over Tigers

Isaako steps Roosters

Panthers back from dead - personally I imagine this would be the most horrible for a Manly fan, shades of Penrith 32 - Tigers 31.

Sharks survive Eels scare - my personal favourite, with Slimy Fart scoring what could have been the equalling try, but missing the kick. Hopes up, hopes up, hopes up!.... nope I'm still the Slimy Fart.

Hess steals win

Roosters hold on over Tigers - funny that a Corey Thompson try/no try on full time decided both games by 2 points. You could argue we matched the premiers all season.

Otherwise good work here from NRL off-season, except they haven't quite figured out their NRL TV change to videos, so stuff gets lost/hidden unless you search for it.

Watched the last 10 mins of the replay of WT v Knights a few days ago. We copped some shocking calls that cost us the game. The SKD botched PTB that should have seen him penalised but instead we got penalised, the 1-2 metre forward pass that was thrown for the Sio try with about 5 mins to go. And they never bothered to check whether SKD was onside for his match-winning try.....it looked like he could've been in front of the kicker from what I saw,

We have a bad habit of getting screwed over by the refs in games vs Newcastle of late.

and we really needed them extra points going towards the end of the season....if we won that game as well as round 3 against broncos....we might have made the top 8....but no point crying over spilt milk at this point :?
