If clubs are willing to systematically 'encourage' players to use performance enhancing drugs, it's pretty safe to say money and benefits are changing hands outside of what's being reported.

I think what is does show is that it still comes down to who you recruit

Look at Brisbane , all these players who are completely unsuited to their club

Roosters attract the players that suit the game they want to play

I think of people have proof of these under the iceberg payments they should come forward and expose them..

I bet these TPA's the NRL have released are Club affiliated TPA's which are an allowance under the cap not the dodgy bros scams that seem to get found out in the cap rorts ..
The roosters are a prime example, they come down below a host of teams on TPA's, I say that is a crock, they have more than that going on :x

Any information is good and its at least a starting point.

The question to put to the NRL is now is what was their methodology and background information from the clubs that made up the information. Was information cross checked with clubs, player managers, players and then the TPA provider to ascertain the accuracy of provided information?

Also should the information also be available on a player basis so we know who is generating this extra income? The players cant complain too much since they're not at all constrained in complaining to the press when TPA payments go awry.

So looking at some of those clubs and the relatively small TPA,s with who they have on there books ...there certainly is the brown paper bag economy of club land !

And there in lies the problem, I just wish the roosters, souths, brisbane or some club get caught and get the storm type penalties, might reel it in some what, until then it is a joke, the NRL pretend it doesn't happen :x

Obviously these figures do not include where someone close to a club is prepared to sell players property for 60% of its market value, or skins golf days, for $5000 a hole against a CEO and his mates that shoot 12 over per hole.

It will continue to be a joke until contract values, incentives and timeframes are made transparent.

They say teams like dogs and eels at low TPA amounts due to poor performances.

Yet i thought TPA's were part of the deal a player signed to play with a club

For example - if Hayne had to of signed 2017 and 2018 for eels and a TPA in the agreement for both years wouldn't it be paid regardless

Is a private TPA aponsor allowed to renig on their deal because a team is playing poorly?

Is this what is happening when players are blowing up and wanting a release because they weren't paid their TPA
2 Types of TPA's Club affiliated which are allowed under the cap and be provided by Club sponsors I guess if the Club is not performing the way they would like they could withdraw them...these can be guaranteed by the Club..then non Club affiliated TPA's which are solely (supposedly) between the player and the 3rd party not able to be guaranteed by the Club so if the 3rd Party doesn't believe they are getting the value for their buck they could renig and then it's between them and the player to sort it out..
Thanks for that info

TPAs are not the problem, rorting the cap is the problem like the Storm did, and certain clubs are doing now. Sydney City RORTERS!!!
Today we saw a true champion in Winx, and a true bludger in Cleary!

So the Roosters only spend a small proportion of their Cap, via TPAs and managed to sign Cronk and Tedesco in the same off season. Greenberg and his team of dopes are truly an abysmal administration

Are you overlooking the slight of hand payments?
