Good news right before Christmas. Hope to continue to hear good news TT.
Help me... I broke apart my insides,
Help me... I've got no soul to sell;
Help me... The only thing that works for me,
Help me get away from myself...

Cuando llegue el día, y estoy parado a las puertas del cielo, será Dios pidiendo mi perdón...

Hi all.
Thanks for all the well wishes and cheers..we had a very good Xmas and New Year spent with family and friends,my partner had to go to Concorde Hospital to have a PORT inserted in her chest for the chemo treatment, this is a method used rather than injecting her viens in her arms everytime she has the chemo.

At the moment she is in reasonable good spirits albeit some days are painful and nausiating, however she has come to realise that this treatment will give her more life rather than doing nothing and the end result wouldnt be very good..

The oncologist told her that she could walk out and not have the treatment as the tumour has been removed, but, there is no guarantee that it wouldnt return, this treatment will asure her that the cancer is completely removed and she could be cancer free for years to come..THERE ARE NO GUARENTEES IN LIFE ..However this is the best we have and we will continue on trying to enjoy life, family, friends and for me this forum...

Once again all you fantastic people of the forum, including Hap and Geo,thanks for the support..GOD Bless...

cheers TT....
You may see me struggle...but you will never see me quit... :D

You're right in that there a no guarantees in life TT, a little bit of pain now for better quality and quantity of life is a no brainer.

Be there for her and be sure to remind her that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Chronic illness does a number on people and can really send you into a spiral.

Look forward to hearing more good news soon mate.

Just letting you guys and girls know that my partner of 12 yrs has been diagnosed with breast cancer and has had a single mastectomy this week gone.....This came as a total shock to us and now we are dealing with it as best we can,her Dr said he will cure her and we may have got it early.....

Even in these circumstances my partner was released yesterday and today went back over to the hospital to give her roommate flowers and donuts as she has no family in the area....a true generous and big hearted woman is my partner and hopefully after 6 months of chemo we will be back to as close to normal as possible..

I love my partner...the WTs and you guys...heres to a great preseason and year ahead... :D

sidenote to all the girls on the forum or who visit our site....always check your breasts and have scans, this disease comes out of nowhere...prevention is better than cure...
God bless, and may the force be with you :sign:

Stay positive brother and remember to be thankful in every circumstance! I know it can be very hard especially during a time like this. I was going through a certain something in my life and found out a week later that a friend of mine had lost both his parents. His father to a heart disease and his mother to breast cancer aswell. Him and his siblings are 8, 17 and 20. Still very young and now have lost both their parents during Christmas time. It just made me realise how I need to be thankful for anything that im going through because others are going through much more. Im positive all will be fine soon because of your positiveness and love for your partner. All the best and my prayers are with you and your family!

edit: I just saw the good news and didn't realise it. First time seeing this topic and didn't read through to the end. That's great news TT. Im glad its all worked out and remember to be thanks. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
