Lack of class

Post by Tigermama » Tue 11 Aug, 2015 2:36 pm

First and foremost, i like to say congratulations to the boys, for getting the win. Not once did i see them hang their heads down. They played
tough, skillfully and classy.
I'm so glad they didn't fall for Blakes dummy too.
As for Canbera? Well, their lack of class all through the 80mins was obvious.
Trying to hurt Teddy at every opportunity they got, pulling Woodsy 's hair, head butting.
Trying to win the game by brute force and bullying.
I'm so relieved the boys and especially Teddy, didn't get any serious injuries.
After this game i dislike the Raiders with a vengence
Winning this game was soooo SWEET.... :D

Raiders were in all the game for niggle.
raiders became flustered, and deserved what they got.
Wests-tigers were in all the game to play footy.
wests-tigers stayed composed, and won..

Basil, our rescue dog, is wondering when wests tigers will win 25 - 18 :D

A win is just so much better when we overcome the grubbiness of the opposition

The grub tactics are what you would expect from a Ricky Stuart coached team. As said WT did well to rise above and get the win. The little Woodsy niggle and it's response at the end of the show iced the cake for mine. Well played WT!

Ricky Stuart in his media statement after the game made the comment that his team, leading 12-4 at halftime, lost the match because they became too impatient. Maybe he is right, his team was too impatient to put the niggle in at every chance they had.

You make some good points TM raiders continued with their crib acts largely because the refs didn't clamp down on it but the ultimate irony was Woodsy, whilst he wasn't a grub, played them at their own game in the end and bye bye shilo :sign:

We won the niggle
We won the 'fight'
We won the game
And poor little ricky was glum

Doesn't get better than that
On the bus or under it!
Your choice.

Each to their own Tigermama but i kind of like this.

Tedesco reneged on them, they would be soft if they just let him go down their and have it his way.

Brute force and bullying, to me this is good hard tough Rugby League.

For too many years the Wests Tigers have been soft, real soft. Even the other night Sirro had to tell the forwards to stand up for Tedesco. Seriously if you need to be told to look after your star fullback you are a soft pack.

Hopefully through his recruitment this is something Taylor addresses.
