TEAM LIST Round 2 vs. Raiders

Team List
I wil always appreciate fats for 05 and helping change the culture from absolutely a mad house in 02/03. A great footballer . But geez he got white line fever to the max .. the only other player I can think of who just refused to pass the football was one Ben Pommeroy . And the joke was it was because he couldn’t .
Whatuira was an excellent short passer...

He was very dangerous on the short side - and an excellent defender

How do you go about watching them train joebob. Do you just rock up and walk through the gate?
Hey mate, I’ve been there several times and if u go on Tuesday, Thursday at 10:30 they are the best times. Don’t know if it changes after they start playing. I park at the back in the carpark that the gym uses, and u can walk straight in and sit in the stand m.

Not sure it is hate - he had good tempo and had a go - but as a lock his ball playing in the trial was close to non existent. Then again our lateral movement was also next to none. I simply want to see more in attack that run hard. If he ran a few decent lines at gaps and played the ball before or at the line on occasions he could be more dangerous.
but he looked good there last season imo
it was just a trial and most people on here wouldnt stop complaining about pole being lock now hes on the bench everyone wants him back at lock its crazy

Wouldn't be a bad thing, great winger, great captain and went on to be a wise commentator on the game. But no, he was captain when I started following Rugby League. Friends who were supporters of the Magpies took me out to Lidcombe for games and I was hooked. First try scorer raffles, collections for Bob Cooper (after a massive suspension) in the stands, classic canteen, smell of denco everywhere, you could see the players up close....and mad fans. Magpies were a fighting team in those days.
Tingles, don’t stop, please go on.
Captain from the wing, he was a gun.

Opal was definitely training and I’m opposed sessions and appeared to be running full-tilt. Must of aggravated his knee during this training session. Doesn’t look great for him/us, twice he’s failed with that knee. How aren’t they managing this injury better??
The physio, Peter Moussa, said they were just giving the knee an extra week as he didn't have a full pre season. So back round 3.

Reckon this Saturday needs to be a massive game for Stephano.
If he wants the big boy dollars, he has to own the middle on games like this.
There's enough talent in the pack they just need someone to stand up and take the lead. Klem is too old, Seyfarth too young (and small) and the back rowers are both fitness/finesse guys.
He's gotta show some fire in the belly this week, hope he can do it.

That’s a concern for me. Always found talk was a good barometer of attitude.
When they mic-ed Carrigan and did that highlights video of how he talked on the field all the time it was really neat to hear. Wonder who does talking for WT on the field ?

completely agree. if Stefano and Seyfarth don't stand up we'll be eaten alive by Canberra. doesn't matter if Klemmer and Twal do their jobs, if those two don't set the tone early in contact we're done for. Seyfarth needs to ballplay as well.

Show him video of JWH, Spencer L, Moses liotta, Josh papps and junior P and James fisher Harris.

To be fair his hand was forced with Faataape a little bit. I dare say if Olam and/or Naden are fit he doesn't play. Casey and Garner are centres in cup. Our only other real option was to have Tupou in there.

I'll be getting behind them regardless of who is playing. If you can't have a little bit of hope round 1 when will you?
I think Faataape will hold his own. He is strong and determined. I'm more worried about Toa. He is the weak link and Tupou and Staines are lucky dips.. I'd like to see Olam and Faataape in 3 & 4 going forward.

Get Mr Fire'n'Brimstone Samuela Fainu in early...

I watched the rugby guys for 10 minutes last week. All I remember thinking was how loud they were. So much talk. You hear it a bit at tigers but mainly some individuals (Sezar, i recall Naden from an earlier session, Api), but no where near the levels of the rugby team.
Joe Bob. No disrespect brother. You are the real deal. People like you keep our team afloat. Thank You Brother.

Carrigan really impressed me when I was watching that, hearing him directing players like a halfback, very surprising

Impressive as hell....
You've either got that - Or you don't - You can't build it.
My biggest concern with Bula, Quiet kid at the back.... He needs to be a big talker.

Can see why they made Carrigan the captain so early in that period.... Natural Leader.
