He was pretty poor , he needs to head back a grade and earn a spot , even as 14 he doesn’t do much , looks like he has no interest at all , maybe ask the question , do you want out , he may feel he has made the wrong call coming to us and that’s fine , just ask him , could work out well for both him and club , I don’t see a spot for him at all in 2025 , But I will say this , the whole team looked poor yesterday , we lost the game by not stopping them unloading the pill , many times they just stood and passed when 2 and 3 of our guys were holding them and our other guys had there backs turned , We are also a light weight team , Lomax standing next to Seyfarts , lomax was way taller and bigger much bigger , Staines tries to have a go but again tall no weight and gets stopped dead every time

Best job... I was one of them. I got to watch and learn all their good and bad things..... and the oranges were tasty... no stickers on them back in the day....

we're stuck with him until Super League comes calling, and even then we're going to be paying a considerable amount of freight to get him over there. unless there is a harrowing injury crisis at Concord he should never be sighted playing first grade again.

I think he will follow the Brody Croft, Bevan French, Jackson Hastings mould and try to get some experience in Super League. If he dominates that comp, he may come back. I got no doubts that he will be in Super League next season and hopefully the next team covers most of his paycheck.

I think we probably need him for depth this season but would be playing him in NSW Cup looking to move him on at the end of the year.

Benji doesn’t know how to use the utility role

Only time we have used the 14 is to replace Bud or rubbish time.

We haven’t used 14 twice this year even when we had a rotation to use.

That says it all really - Benji uses Bud out of desperation.

No starting half should be interchanged unless injured.

Raiders - Sezer on for Bud
Sharks - Bud 14mins (game gone)
Eels - Bud not used & 6 interchanges
Dolphins - Bud replaced by Fainu who gets injured Bud comes back on
Dragons - Simpkin not used & 6 interchanges


If Latu, Galvin and Sezer are injury free doubt we see Bud play anytime soon.

Ali was clearly struggling at times yesterday, Simpkin had to come on to give him a break and give us done fresh legs.

4 years for a guy that wasn't wanted on the only team that's been as bad as us the past few years was certainly some recruitment decision.

Bud was far from proven..he played 27 nrl games in 5 yrs at Dragons,and cldnt make their 17 towards end of the season
Anyway,regardless ,were stuck with him...for the time being
Gonna be an expensive mistake...tho we cld have had Schuster as well if Fulton had his way

It took 11 years to work out Brooks was a decent running 6,but no playmaker which is commensurate with the $$ we were paying him!!
Entirely our mismanagement of his talent
We tried to push a square peg into a round hole
Instead of finding a compatible no 7(and Sezer wld have been servicable),we gave him a lowball offer and pushed him out the door
Hes one of the few WTs that leaves us who I sincerely hope does well

I would prefer we name AJ as 14 for the rest of the season than have Bud/TDS/Jake at 14 if Benji isn’t going to use them.

Trying to work out how Sullivan gets ditched by you (and I agree, he needs time out in reserve grade at least).
But AD gets another try at first grade?

Look, AD has to push another first grader out. I am not saying that they don't deserve a push out... We need to see KILLER form in reserve grade to let AD anywhere near first grade again.

If AD comes back it's Bench 17th spot for a few games. Honestly, the guy is far too busted to play NRL again.

It was stated on here more than a few times that Benji had the final say on all signings for for the squad,having said that we all make mistakes
