I expect that Naden would have copped a fair bit from Benji over his performance last week. If, and it is a big if, we are going to beat the Phins I think Naden, on a good day, offers more than Faatape. Naden and Olam on a good day could be a handful - on a bad day they could be a sieve...
That team doesn't have many points in it; you could debate one or two of Benjis selections, but changing them would be replacing them with not much better. For the most part it is probaly the best we've got and really shows how shallow the depth is at the club.
It was good to hear Richo...
I mentioned a few weeks ago that our games are currently being lost by what's betwwen the ears, not so much by the skill of the players (although we could definitely trade a few). Sports psychology, leadership, preparation or whatever other label you want to put on it, starts with belief...
Spot on Lauren,
It was a poor performance by the match officials, not just the referee. Their performance has been glossed over by the NRL who have preferred to focus on players overstepping the mark. I'm pretty sure that had the officals been performing at an apropriate standard the players...
I doubt we will get Badger. By rights she, along with her touchie mates, should be back in Cup getting more time under her belt. I expect they will not want to do that because of the message it will send.
On the money there with Brooks, and potentially some of our current squad. If they can't deal with the adversity it is time to move them on.
Good coaches will be delaing with this on an individual and collective basis. I'm not saying that Benji and co aren't - it is just that it is as clear as...
I think Annesley did a pretty good job of explaining this one - not a hip drop but still a dangerous tackle. Semantics I know but should have been in the bin. Length of the suspension is due to Sezer being a repeat offender - he has three strikes in relation ot dangerous contact and the length...
I just watched Annesley's wrap up of round 9 and the biggest topic was the villification of match officials by players and "keyboard warriors". I get the point he was trying to make, and I agree 100% that the response by many fans to the perfrmance of Kasey Badger was over the top and also...
This game was not lost by the skill of our players, although as many have pointed out the benchies certainly affect our ability to maintain momentumn. This game was lost between the ears yet again. Ill discipline is the issue we are battling; the opposition gets a roll on and we go away from the...
Walsh demonstrated tonight what a selfish player he is; talented but too many risky plays and too many plays for himself as opposed to the team. When it comes off it is great; but when it doesn't .....
Api out is a blow; while he is good we should be well drilled enough to cope without him. Bateman needs to step up and lead from the front.
While a lot of what has been written here about Kickau, the dogs left edge and how good their defence has been; it is not something we need to be overly...
