The bondi to wests move must hit like a brick though. Would love to have gus, provide a very solid addition to our forwards, and i would imagine him to be more reliable then a Papali'i or Batemen by lightyearsAfter hearing Angus Crichton's comments in the media today, we must make him a priority signing
TPJ. Ex bulldog / BoxerTavita who ?
What did he sayAfter hearing Angus Crichton's comments in the media today, we must make him a priority signing
The one who a couple months ago said he never liked footy and his parents forced him into it?TPJ. Ex bulldog / Boxer
What did he say
Criticism of Papali’i is unwarranted. The bondi to wests move must hit like a brick though. Would love to have gus, provide a very solid addition to our forwards, and i would imagine him to be more reliable then a Papali'i or Batemen by lightyears
Did he paint his drug use in a good light in his own book so that people wouldn’t question exactly how bad it really was?I read his book. His recreational drug use was usually in the off season or when they had a bye. Sounds like he made a huge effort to never let it affect winning. There was a story where he showed up hungover one session and trained in his joggers and was the best on ground in the session. Joeys faults (bipolar disorder apparently) were countered bythe relentless competitor in him.
Dam , Him on left back row , Pappi lock , Bateman right side back row be nice , he would cover us needing another prop I feel as we got young guys dang but Angus has good work rate , Never say never with Ricoh aroundCrichton won't play second fiddle to Fifita at Roosters
Angus Crichton has made clear he isn't prepared to sit behind David Fifita at the Sydney Roosters in 2025, with the second-rower weighing up leaving the club.www.aapnews.com.au
Article I linked earlier, said a few things. Mainly wants to play left second row and seems a bit annoyed with Roosters. Only catch is he said he wants to go to a good team.
Calls that have said he doesn't put in 100% are also way off. People need to think back to the 80th minute of the Dragons game last year. He and Bula were the ones that made the 3 tackles in the same play.Criticism of Papali’i is unwarranted.
How many actual bad games has he played for us? Answer: Not many.
Part of always losing I have noticed is that our consistent players always get lumped together with the losers who often lose us the game. Ahem, Naden ahem Staines.
I'd be happy to pay overs for Gus. We pay overs for nearly all top players that come to us, Gus would be worth it more than most othersThe bondi to wests move must hit like a brick though. I think his footy speaks volumes.Did he paint his drug use in a good light in his own book so that people wouldn’t question exactly how bad it really was?
Smart man.
I like Papi, just don't think he has played like he did at Parra. But in saying that I hadn't minded staines, at least compared to NadenCriticism of Papali’i is unwarranted.

Except Api - everyone wants to bang him.

Looks like he's looking at options, who could imagine the shiny new toy signing would upset one of the form players in the comp in that position.
Overs for Gus would be a lot tho,he is already getting paid $600K as is, and I feel like we shouldn't stray too far from thatI'd be happy to pay overs for Gus. We pay overs for nearly all top players that come to us, Gus would be worth it more than most others
He was reported as on 600k at Storm and was also reported Tigers picked up his full contract but who knows if either is true.Thought Olam was on $400,000 - $45t0,000 but could be wrong.
The environment matters.I like Papi, just don't think he has played like he did at Parra. But in saying that I hadn't minded staines, at least compared to Naden
Not his exact words but he's a bit uncertain about his spot next year with Fifita coming. What did he say
100% and am happy with him. Bloody unlucky suspensionThe environment matters.
"Crichton labelled the Roosters' decision to sign Fifita as "interesting" and admitted it left him wondering about the club's thinking"Not his exact words but he's a bit uncertain about his spot next year with Fifita coming.
Sell the dream Richo!
