Just wondering if we had Craig Bellamy as our coach this year where would we be sitting on the table at this time of the year
Would we still be in the bottom half or in the top 8 ?
Me thinks with this bunch we would be somewhere in the top 6
What do you guys think ?

I guess it depends - when did he "start" with the team? How much time has he had to implement his systems? Did he have 4 years of salary cap abuse to put his systems in place? Would he be as successful with a team that has been fairly poor for a decade?

If he was only brought in say the start of the season I'd doubt we'd be much better off.

The interesting fact is we came back massively against Eels and it was only a couple late tires that put it out of reach, came back massively against Cows and lost by 4, did the same against Titans and lost by 8, got within a dubious try call in golden point against Souths, lost by 4 against Warriors after leading late and they had men in the bin.

With a little better attitude in defense and a little luck the team easily could have been sitting in 6th or 7th and no one is even discussing Madge's ability as a coach or trying to sell Brooks to whoever will take him.

He would have ‘lost the dressing room’.

Standards are too high for our mob.

Personally, I think the Melbourne set up is just as important as Bellamy is to Melbourne.

If he was here, I'm sure we'd attract better players, but I'm not sure he'd make much difference with the current roster.

Sadly that sad tale could be attached to anyone of our last ten seasons. It’s always the same story of…..only if.
Bottom line, good teams find a way to win

If Bellyache considers quitting Storm (which is a possibility), it will be very interesting to see if they would still remain a very successful club, will players walk? or will we see a reduced increase in success? despite who ever takes over. Thoughts ?

Not sure. They were strong from the get go. Anderson did quite well with them in the time he was there.

IMO might be better than 3rd last but not much better. Bellamy is undoubtedly a quality coach but he has never had a poor roster in his whole coaching career.

OH NO third last. And here I was thinking that we were only two points out of the eight. Silly me.

We aren't two points out of the eight because our F/A is a disgrace. We are 4 points out of the eight rn. Denial, denial, denial.
