It brings back zero memories of the 80's to me as i was a Balmain Tiger's supporter and we had a team that other clubs feared to play,the opposite of where we are today

Like Balmain in the 90s, though we did have some good reserve grade and president cup sides - at least there was that.

Not great seeing them at the bottom but it must be noted 6 of the 7 losses are against the sides currently sitting in the top 5 and the other was against the side sitting 7th.

Got to think positive that things may improve when they play more of the bottom sides, well you can hope 😂

Obviously (well hopefully) the youngsters involved will improve over time, we had a very inexperienced side, but also still too many no hopers filling the squad. But we should be one team that gets stronger as the season progresses - pending promotions to the NRL side.

Having Fainu in the halves would instantly change this side.

Actually lots of potential in the cup side. Club has chosen to play a very young side but its giving the young blokes plenty of time against men. Some real talent coming through- Miller, DeSilva, Feledy, Mason, Luke Laulii, Kit Laulii, Brardelow, Matamua and more all Flegg or Ball eligible.

Alex Lobb must run in concrete boots, he is so slow

Forwards have been decent so far but halves are terrible.

Lobb gets worse every time I see him play.

Miller looks the only nrl prospect out of this mob

The rest are bush footy prospects at best

Was Lobb off contract at the dragons?
We really need to review our recruitment decisions and I would start by looking at every player that we’ve recruited recently and going back to their previous club and seeing who ended up replacing them!
Then ask yourself why were we able to pick up that player relatively un challenged. Who should we have looked at instead?

Kit, Broederlow and Miller all doing some good things with ball in hand.
