On the first Penrith try wasn't Api taken out by Martin? Martin jumps nowhere near the ball and pulls Api away from the bomb. The bomb bounces where Api was and Penrith recover. Is that not the disruptor rule? I'm just not sure what explains that decision based on new rules, or even before that rule was brought in?

LOL ….. some of you guys man ,are so fickle . hes A gun , who still hasn’t played 1 whole season of football yet . His positional play is elite , his involvements are elite , he’s constantly around the ball.
he has the defence organised , he runs all day , makes all his tackles , saves tries , seriously , WTF are you talking about ?
he glides because that’s his running style like a modern day David peachey.
Every team in the comp who doesn’t have a turbo , Edward’s,ponga or walsh , would do anything to have a fullback like him In their team. He is NOT the problem . We didn’t execute . That’s all that happened today.we don’t have wingers who execute.
all year we have been wondering where the attack is , stripping n7mbers down the edges . Well , it was there for all to see today, and the wingers shat the bed . It is what it is . There’s a reason that team has won the last 3 premierships . They execute and grind . Most teams go in and out of games , they just wait and pounce on their opportunities .
Hes not a gun. He may be one day but he is not currently. He does all those things that you say except his attacking positioning is poor and his passing game in backline shifts is nonexistent.
Its not every team in the comp that doesnt have Turbo, Edwards, Ponga or Walsh it is also Tedesco, Papenhuyzen, Hammer, CNK, Drinkwater, Mitchell, Gutherson, Brimson.
He is not close to a gun fullback. He may get there, (though personally i think his ceiling is about that of Will Kennedy) but he is certainly not there yet.
Yes the wingers are trash but Bula has his shortcomings.

Exactly.
We could have signed Zac Lomax ti play fullback and he would have offered similar x factor to the other elite fullbacks you mentioned.

You’re kidding right? There was a lot out there today when compared to previous years to be positive about. We actually tried for one
We couldn't be worse than last week. And instead of a bounce back we were awful except for a slow start from penrith to begin with. Galvin was good so there's a positive

It's really frustrating, but we just have to be patient. Desperately need outside backs.

Two things we'll get apologies for this week - we should have either had a pen try or one of their players sin binned for Olam being taken out. And one of their tries was 100% a disruptor as they have been calling it all season.

Two pretty crucial moments.

Zak didn't want us. We couldn't off. He didn't want us.
He’s publicly stated his favourite position is fullback.
Every club except us already has an elite fullback, had we offered him fullback I’m certain he would have come.

We didn’t get beat because of our bench players, we got beat due to our non existent attack, no threat on our edges or out wide.
lol.
We created many opportunities. Our edges had them shitting themselves.
We lost due to our inability to finish plays correctly and turn half chances into full line breaks , brought about by our 15 errors.

Everyone including him knew he didn’t knock that on… just not the ref. But he didn’t say a word.
THEN why didn't the CAPTAIN know - and make the call??

You just pointed the finger at Api...

Who off the bench made errors ?

At least in the presser Benji finally mentioned the refereeing of the last few weeks and questioned the decisions and said he would be following it up.
It doesn't mean we win games but at least Benji has had enough along with all the fans and players

Forgot the third crucial moment that was completely on us/Tupou - why on earth he didn't tell Api to challenge his pick up that was called a knock on?

People knocking Benji for bench rotation is harsh. The team is obviously being cautious with Latu and I think seyfarth and S Fainu had great impact and were used well.

Hopefully we get to see more of Latu in the middle, I've always felt by playing Pole in the middle it dampens his impact as a prop and, while it gives us physicality, he's limited as a ball player.
Pole hasn't had much impact either side of the ball for awhile now. Def needs to be considered only in prop rotation. Doesn't offer much as a 13.

100!

The dramatic lack of proportionality and perspective on all social media after a team loss (espcially after a highly creditable effort from the last-placed versus first-placed teams of the past 2 years) is like toddlers with ADHD throwing out their toys when they are refused more red cordial!

The catastrophising of the final result when were in it up to our eyebrows with 15 minuts left is so entitled for a fanbase that has been through much darker days...

There are some positive indicators for anyone who has the slightest sense of nuance in rugby league - and it was a solid effort after losing a key positional player

Who off the bench made errors ?
I’m not blaming the bench. It’s a collection of factors. Players aren’t positioning themselves in anticipation of the offload. The offloads themselves are also misdirected. These are growing pains of changing lineups. The players are still getting to know each other.
Additionally, our 5/8th is 4 games old.
An experienced and tight side would have won given that amount of possession and opportunities.

100% they bring in a new rule and then rule on it until it happens to us.

We were awful in moments. I don’t think we were awful all round…
