Win well? You can’t be serious no indicator would even lean that way.

We are lucky to score 1-2 tries a game.

Bulldogs have been playing well, their attack has been clunky which is to be expected but have started to work it out. They have scored 30pts 3 times this year.

It’s a winnable game and a test of where we actually are as a team.
Bulldogs are not a good team, this team just needs some confidence, score early points and the dogs will roll over

We aren’t a good team either.

The Bulldogs aren’t a terrible team either & have improved. It sounds like you haven’t watched them this season. The Bulldogs haven’t rolled over all season.

Both teams are at a similar level and should be a good contest.

Maintain the Bulldogs recruited very well for a club trying to move up the ladder. Blend of marquee players supported by the recruitment of experienced players that had trouble securing FG positions at successful clubs. It was smart and beginning to gel nicely.

Totally agree and this is a big worry especially as kikau
Is in the best form of life lately

What a negative outlook for our team....if our mob are half professional and under great coaching we should have players on good money to nulify Kikau...he is only a player and our blokes should play out of their arses to overcome any thing he has to offer, otherwise we are back to being soft, non agressive pussies and that is no recommendation for Benji, his assistants or the club bosses...
We need to earn the right to play NRL,if our blokes with the big reputations and hype cant beat the Bulldogs this weekend then we are no better than the last decade

We need to start well and hit hard in defence , Bateman to nail Burton like he did with Nicko in sharks game and put him off his game , and the forwards just use brutal defence and aggressive running , Olam to hit Critter with a big one and critter will no fire well , needs to be early , Ipap to stop Kikau from getting;g to much running lace up , be on him. Early , Tigers by 8

Addo Carr scored 3 tries against Storm. Dogs only lost that game because Burton missed 2 conversions. The dogs look like a team on the rise.

I'm struggling to think of a ref who doesn't cause trauma. And how good will it be when they go to the bunker for their lottery/madness decision? Refereeing these days is absolutely random, with pedantic new penalties being randomly enforced in terribly inconsistent ways. The face of Api after the no try said it all.
The bunker is usually our greatest enemy, moreso than the ref on the field most times. Maybe she’ll have some compassion for us since her husband worked for us, maybe not. Either way if anything goes up to the bunker, and most things usually do, just know the decision will go against us, without a doubt.

I agree with this,i have no doubts Badger will get a few things wrong during the game but that could go either way, what i don't expect is any critical decisions from the Sutton in the bunker will go our way.If he can find a way to rule against us he will

The intention was clear to buy them time but see progression.

The utilities they bought are all NRL top 17 level effort players and they have focused on a team of effort players in the middle with speed/skill on edges as the step to progress. Most of their pickups walk straight into our 17.

Bulldogs knew a chunk of these players won’t win the comps but will see them move into the right direction just based on effort alone to allow for additional pieces to develop/ purchased over next few years to build into a top 6 threat.

I like what you did there. Noice.
👍🏻👍🏻

hard not to love this kid.
hard not to love the family, all seem family first. same with turuva, and most of our team. we aren't just building a strong team, we seem to be building a tight team full of good blokes. you love too see it

In my opinion, tigers and bulldogs are in the exact same business, only difference is the bulldogs have more confidence coming off of good wins, the decider of how our season will go will lie in how much we turn up this weekend
The Dogs and our mob are both trying to get out of the cellar. At this stage through good recruitment the Dogs are in front of us, but our ceiling is much higher looking into the future. Dogs will probably win and are a real chance to make the eight or get close, where we are at least a year away
