We have a better forward pack, if Brooks is on again we should win. He needs to back it up.

Cleary was as comfortable as when he was reading off his notes saying he had a contract with us and intended staying as coach with the tigers. He can’t believe we beat him and it hurt bad.

With a platform like that, prolific tackling and good kicking game at the end we can win any game.

Spine was fantastic. Bula and Api were great tonight and Brooks kicking was absolutely key.
The outside backs were awesome. First time I’ve thought we could have a strong future in outside backs (Tupoa, Toa, Bula could be a great foundation).

Obviously can’t get carried away and we easily could have lost (which would have sucked because we were better). There were a few down periods during the game and we need a more dynamic bench. Need to work on creativity for sets when we are on their tryline.
But overall outstanding tonight, not just for the conditions. They were cohesive and what a terrific result.
 
Tommy Talau missed the team song because he was talking with people in the crowd 😂😂😂

None of the team noticed he wasn't there 😂😂😂

I look forward to seeing Fox Sports blow this up over the next 7 days.

A win especially for those who braved the harsh weather at Bathurst to watch a team which had not won a game since round 20 last year up against the premiers, a team that has dominated the comp for the last few years.
I know Suzie Q and BPtiger were at the game to witness this historic win. Congratulations for supporting and being a part of WT success.

What a game to be at!! Soaked to the skin, 90 min drive home. Bloody fantastic!!
