Can any of these guys play league ??

Big jump in grade for most rah rahs!
Talent is there but imo the older players are happy with where they are with the occasional player looking at overseas movement/experiences.
The place where there might be the attraction of league is in the youth areas and all NRL clubs have scouts combing the rep games etc.

No disrespect to the Pirates but why are they so poorly performed year after year? This year they are bottom three in all grades with every team bar one having a losing record. I played for them back in the late 1960s when they were Western Suburbs and can’t understand why they don’t do better at least in some years.

Goes back to a full youth, playing union on Saturdays, and league on the Sundays.
Love both games, in fact anything with a ball.

The West Harbour Pirates go down to Gordon via a penalty goal after the final siren.
39-38, with massive swings during the game.
Second time this year a referee has won the game for the opposition against the Pirates.
It's a tough old world sometimes.
