Wait for something better to arise that we need his $$ for.

Are there any players we’re chasing apart from the obvious ones like Ofahengaue, Siro etc?

He's wanted & he's keen, but needs to prove he's what's needed to right people & also Broncos sign off on release terms.

If we can’t get Sironen surely they’re looking for a second rower elsewhere we need one badly

Yes he's meeting with Sydney teams, we are keen on him for sure & have big $$ in 2022 free but now securing Laurie I can't see him as a massive priority fullback wise.

Could be announced this week, discussions progressed fast initially but deal not 100% yet.

I didn’t know Olakau‘atu was a second rower. He’s built like Shaun Lane, could be a decent player but haven’t really watched him. Wouldn’t be a bad option for a swap

I only saw Haumole Olakau’atu come off the bench a couple of times but he was very strong.

He made heaps of tackle breaks, and is on bugger all $$$ wise.

who's Madge planning to play at 1 and 6 for next year? obviously things could change through pre-season but is there a plan in place at this stage?

Ok cool, so we are holding firm and expecting him at training 30 November?

At this stage yes, his management wanted it sorted by then to save the embarrassment of coming out in Tiger colours after whats been said, but club has made his manage to try & present an acceptable offer for release so pressure is all on him.

This is a great strategy. The manager will be motivated to come up with an offer so he receives his commission and his client$.

If he's got few first grade prospects there and a much better chance of playing here then he'd move on for the sake of this career.
