Who was that?Pre NRL but i remember a coach who had no playing record and was an ex school teacher. Probably should have won a premiership at 2 different clubs.

So what GNR,we arent talking other clubs...I think other clubs care given no one’s hired since.
No one, the chairman’s ego won’t allow it, but we should.Whose going to issue a gag order on the 3 biggest people at the club?
Good to read your posts again Cochise.I care and I don't have to let it go.
He definitely won’t be able to turn this ship around.I get Jason Taylor 2.0 vibes from Morris, no idea why I'm probably dead wrong buy I get the feeling he won't be able to do anything. My preferences Payton, Flannaghan and Potter.

Bring back the the face slapping What's old is new again!Masters
Really? Sounds like a cop out to me.It's pretty well known in coaching circles that Ciraldo was put off by how Lee spoke to Rob Bechara via text message. Thought it was incredibly unprofessional and gave him second thoughts about signing here (word is he had a verbal agreement, just nutting out the details). Lee once again puts his foot in his mouth.
The million dollar question is who willHe definitely won’t be able to turn this ship around.
Media suck big ones! This is more on then us, seriously hoMedia is gonna have a field day with us
It doesn’t matter who the next coach is because we can’t get any worse. We are getting the spoon this year and that’s on Madge, not Kimmorley.
It beggars belief that people think Madge was going to turn this joint around. The best he did was finish 9th - with Ivan’s team!
Two and a half years later, with more and more his picked squad, we have since finished 11th, 13th and this year bottom.
Morris, Woolfe, Flanagan, Kimmorley or Charlie Brown cannot do any worse.
Look I agree in parts, it would be better to be a bit more careful with vocalising everything. But I believe they were trying to show CC theirWoohoo we're finally seeing the Wests Tigers play off the cuff...pity it's from our management though.
Don't care whether the next coach is second choice - we've previously went for Bellamy and Bennett first. Or a replacement wasn't secured - Ivan came in pretty quickly for Taylor.
I'd hope it's not done in haste (to land the right coach) but not too long where player retention and recruitment is impacted.
However, I wish they'd do their business similarly to the Papalii and Korisau recruitments. Don't tell everyone our plans. Be ruthless and just get the job done in the background.
Love signing announcements yet rejections being publicly declared feels like a kick in the guts.
Morris is assistant coach at Souths and hopefully coach at WTs. WTs appear to have steered clear of Flanagan but if reports on this forum are true, met with Morris last week.

Sorry Morris is a train wreck waiting to happen, especially with us!!Morris is assistant coach at Souths and hopefully coach at WTs. WTs appear to have steered clear of Flanagan but if reports on this forum are true, met with Morris last week.
Yeh I'm opposite lol still can't get the memories of Jonny Cronk in our jersey killing over laps lol still leaves a sour taste in my mouth.I have nothing against Flanagan at all but would prefer Morris, he played over 70 games for the club, did great work with Cronulla's juniors who Fitzgibbon is now reaping the rewards of, excluding Nico Hynes of course.
He is a proven development coach that Tim Sheens says he is looking for.
Great post. With things going so badly, and a spoon beckoning, its a good time to make a new script. We are not driving out of this hole in a BMW, mouthing corporate babble and arriving at where we left off in 2011.
Pick a coach that's been kicked in the guts and is hungry for redemption. Morris, Flanagan, Siebold. They all fit.
Ciraldo was a golden boy. That is so not us. Frankly I'm relieved that the five year fantasy has been flicked. By him. Even better!! That kind of humiliation could come in handy down the track.
And we want players that are hungry, motivated, and identify with where the coach is at.
The only way out of the hole is to claw and fight. But also to take our losses along the way without turning the team into a miserable bunch, looking for exits. That choice starts with the coach.
I reckon Morris fits the bill.
Does the expressionI haven't heard of any players being adversely effected by the 'substances'....have you?
He definitely won’t be able to turn this ship around.
Except Benny. It seems no one at the Wests Tigers is familiar with the phrase "no comment."
