Interesting that Lobb amassed 168 points for Dragons last season and nowhere close with the Magpies. What does this say about the Magpies outfit? I’m hearing a lot about brains and cattle in this team- Lobb doesn’t have this around him to do his best work. Shame really. And first grade have nothing to lose if they give him a crack to show his potential! At this stage I’d say throw him a bone and he may just surprise us all!

Wingers are more involved bringing the ball out where we struggle. Bula has been very good defensively which is key. Young player with lots to learn wouldn’t move him unless it’s a rep player you are bringing in. The kid is in his second season needs as much time as possible.

We can’t carry two absolute plodders on the bench in Twal & Seyfarth should be one or the other. I’d carry Seyfarth as at least he has a bit of mongrel about him.

Yes you are correct, both Twal & Seyfarth don't really offer much at all, picking 1 is bad enough let alone both.
