Kelma Tuilagi Signs With Manly

Might have to go into the market CHN was keen on joining Madge but NRL media scared off Hartigan putting in a formal offer, Wouldnt be against bring back Sausao Sue or Calling up RFM (Raymond Faitala Mariner)

With some money to spend a decent/gun centre is the target, focus may change to edge forward now but feel centre will be the priority.
not many or them around and centres are less relevant these days. We need a gun wide forward and then the ok centres look better. Blore's injury was a rough one. Kelma a loss, but leaves us very weak next year

"Very risky relying on 19 and 20 year olds to play first grade every week, especially in '23 where we will be making a big push to finals

I'd think we would sign someone to play second row for then, can't see us just hoping the dev players get it done"

It's risky and we seem to do it poorly. Melbourne fielded Israel at 17? It worked well and he was coached brilliantly. Yet his body had not stopped growing. I hate to think what the NRL crippled players graveyard looks like but it would be worse hobbling people below 18.

Yea, we need ANOTHER CENTER
Ok we lost Reece Hoffman
But we only have:
James Roberts
AJK
Tommy Talau
Oliver G
and about 4 other guys.

Heck we signed Starford Boa and he is our only real reserve Winger/fullback. if Laurie gets injured it's James Roberts who is our next most experience fullback.

But hey it's all good were going to have oodles of Center depth with Sheens around. James Tamou, Alex Twal and Stefano will all be centers shortly 😉 *

*an old reference how Gareth Ellis and a bunch of our forwards became centers. They handled the ball a lot more under Sheens and scored tries. Sheens practiced fast footy.

None of them have even played Flegg yet... 🙄
If we can’t get someone for outside the club in time for the trials. Maybe the best option would be to have a player like Seyfarth or Joe O train and trial in the backrow. Even though they are more seen as middle players. I’d keep Peachy at 13 so the attack still flows from round the ruck.

I must be honest i am disappointed he is leaving as i thought he had a great deal of upside in a position where we need it.He is a far bigger loss than Lucy imo

Always thought Kelma was a solid player with a high work rate, but not much more. I'm disappointed because he would always be good backup for a better player and I'd be feeling more comfortable if we had someone else lined up, but I guess it's fingers crossed again.

How about BMM? He was always a great potential, but did not show much at the WT, partially because that was the time his friend Mosese Fotuaika died.

Manly must be close to been Cap full as well now if they are paying overs for him and there big 5 on top $$$.. I would assume Garner if off the cards for them now as they could of signed him already for 2023 if they wanted him.. Some have been saying T Sim and for a 2 year deal it might be a very good option and gives our young ones a few years to develop.
