All. Stars match *SPOILERS

It brings people together and allows them to celebrate their cultures I think it's great. I would argue the Indigenous Vs NRL All Stars was less relevant... Indigenous Vs Maori's makes a lot more sense.
I’ll be honest, the attention i pay to it, I thought it was still the NRL all stars.

Let’s ask the fox if captaining the indigenous means anything to him? Let’s ask latrell if missing this game means anything to him? I’m certain both teams will be playing with alot of passion
Mate your spot on.
I've received several emails and texts already from my cousin mob in WA who are so excited about it. WA is predominantly an Australian Rules state but this event is an eagerly awaited event on their calendar.
I'll know the result before they do ha ha ha

All Stars says what the marketing PR wants it to say.
Any catchy headline grabbing label to attract the attracted.
It's just another entree for the real thing to follow.
(And I'll watch it, criticize it, analyze it, yell at it, and love it - like all the games I see - except where the Tigers are playing: that's when life and death enters the arena!)

I have no vested interest in either culture in relation to football. The game to me is equivalent of watching manly and newcastle play nothing to get excited about. But in saying that I will watch and judge the game on quality of football played not the hype.
For the record I’d prefer to see Newcastle beat Manly. And the Indigenous All Stars to beat the Maori's

I wish the players themselves would take this game seriously.

When the best player of both cultures opt out, its hard for me to get excited about it.
If your talking about Mitchell mate, he's suspended and a number of NRL stars are missing the game with squads going into strict biosecurity bubbles.
I haven't heard players coming out and saying they don't want to play, there would be a good reason not to play.

I just don’t get it where all rugby league fans this is the first televised game of the year we should all be jumping at the bit to watching some for of rugby league so keen

I'm with you.
Tell me something mate.
Is the Big League mag still in production down in Sydney?
The internet is great but you still can't beat 'The Form Guide'
I used to read it and The Rugby League Week in the bath 😁

Hahah I think I’m to young to have actually red it but my mum used to pick it up at my shop ball games every week and read it religiously

I'm excited for the game despite the teams being weaker than usual

Clubs 100% are blocking their players from playing, add in suspensions plus the fact some players wouldn't want to spend a week in a bubble and this is what we get

Hopefully next year the teams are back to being strong. Hopefully the Nines are back too

I'm not pissy, disappointed but not pissy. Why would you go to effort of coming on to this thread to say its a glorified trial game, that shows you don't care, at least that's how it reads. I'm just trying to promote the indigenous game in our forum because I know first hand how much this game and event like this means to us.
It's not just a game but a cultural event.
If you don't understand I can't help you with that. Go tigers
I do understand. I grew up surrounded by more Koori and Islander people than white.
You are correct though, I don’t care.
Enjoy the game.
