I don't care too much about it coz it doesn't seem like players and clubs do. I remember last year Zane Musgrove seemed to be one of the better players.. we all know now.

When others take it seriously then so will I.

Players take it seriously. Clubs couldn't give a damn about any other games besides their own

If they can stop their players participating in any rep footy they will
 
look forward to watching a game of football.

Understand the cultural importance of the game to some of our forum members and I respect that. I can also understand that some may not have the same commitment to it. Don’t understand how it turned into a debate.
 
It's a bit of a joke looking at the selections.

And odd that despite our club being more proactive with indigenous communities than most other clubs we don't have a single player picked, even after other players withdrew. Peachey and Laurie very hard done by, either they requested not to be selected or Daley really hates us and is punishing those players.
 
I've got a feeling that Laurie wanted to get a full preseason and trials under his belt before tackling a full on game due to his injury.
Don't know with Peach.

The quality of game and the quality of players in the game is lower than NRL standard. Winning or losing doesn't matter much to anyone, and tbh if you ask any average NRL fan or even a player who won the last 3, they won't remember.

If they keep promoting it and keep making a big deal out of it then it will kick on, but right now it's basically a trial game for me, and maybe even lower since there aren't any Tigers players involved.
 
I can't understand why some people are still beating their chests and losing brain cells stating the same things over and over.
I get it, to you it's like a trial match bla bla bla.
It's a cultural event can't you see that.
I was hoping when I re-uped this topic that we could get behind this and show the world we are interested and supportive and talk about the positives.
Their are heaps of other topics where you can beef it out, this one however shouldn't be debated.

Mate, some follow their club predominantly... Some their main love is a certain ground,.for others it's.players or a coach... and some just lobe/hate the game overall
