With stafford toa playing wing last night and not centre. You'd think wing spots will be Ken and Nofa. Centre likely Roberts and the pommy bloke. Toa is too good for reserve grade tho.

I don't know mate but he has been training in that position to cover Asu and Roberts.

Not our juniors. Pretty sure sure Cini came from Penrith and Hoffman from QLD (via Newcastle maybe?)

Apart from groundhog day playing style from last year,I saw one team with half a dozen or more promising kids who will be pushing for first grade round 1..the same team with suposedly few juniors.
Our team ,with the huge nursery,didnt really identify anyone with that same preparedness to step up and make a difference anytime soon

Exactly, and this is what really worries me out of the trial.

Couldnt care less if we lose by 50. It clearly demonstrated that none of our kids are anywhere near first grade standard with the possible exception of Dillon, but he also showed that he doesnt have the fundamentals for fullback.

Trials are nothing, don't fret people. I don't have any hope for this season, but how they perform in trial is irrelevant.

Have always enjoyed watching Peachey from afar and think he'll be good as a linking 13. We've lacked that. Rua looks promising, although out of puff after 5 mins. Thought our forwards looked good throughout the first half and our halves were able to kick pushing forward. Match was pretty even in first half, 2nd obviously ugly.

Continuing concern is that even when given space and time, both maddon and Brooks are way too inconsistent in their kicking game and our team isn't doing anything until we find a dominant organising half.

Agree mate, those additions should improve the side too.

Undecided on robers or toa. Need a good defender there.
