Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Not in a million years imo
I reckon he is not far off the mark, let's not pretend just because he's leaving he isn't a weapon in attack

In a better team his offload would be utilised much better, there was a few times in the roosters trial he was looking to offload once he poked his nose through but our support play is weak.
I've always been a massive critic of his defense though

Club is currently in discussion with his management, unless someone else is moved on he will be on a development deal for 2022 with a chance to be in top 30 for 2023.
Good, an appropriate conclusion and whilst he has shown glimpses, much more often than not the hype train is heading full speed towards a cliff.

Yep,hes been outstanding with the ball in the trials, although his defence not really tested. It suits him to play smaller minutes..but he looks fitter than ever
Cowboys may not have overpaid after all

The only reason he's going is the money.
He loves the Tigers and wanted to stay.
If he plays like this all year they might want to make it worthwhile to change his mind.

Maybe Hastings can do what no one else can do and that’s unlock Brooks ability.

Sadly He has a track record of being a Poor return on investment,

We are close to having some good options.

Respectfully, Its time to look beyond

At the $$$ Brooks is on,its not up to anyone else to unlock his ability..he shld have done it for himself ages ago rather than rely on others...and shld now be the mentor of others!!
if only our prima donnas have at least a part of Michael Jordan's, or Stephen Curry's attitude.🙏

Dylan Walker signs with the Warriors 3 years from 2023. Not many elite 'uncontracted' outside backs left on the market to try to sign as @THE_POM mentioned we are trying to recruit as player #30. Still hoping it's a contracted player like Zac Lomax that we are working on under the radar.

That part of the article just sounds like he is taking a pure guess with no substance to it. They have a gun half coming through in Latu Fainu. Won't be far away from playing 1st grade in 2023 as it is.
Exactly. Mates with the agent and is talking up his player. How else would he get any legit goss?

4 years ago..and the decision was as bizarre then as as it sounds now..coinciding with the demise of the teams fortunes subsequently
Hastings recruitment has acknowledged the issue at 7

he was halfback of the year in 2018
You know well that even when Brooks does receive recognition, he didn't deserve it. The thing with Hastings is he will only succeed if he has a partner in the halves with genuine pace. You and I know Hastings has no pace so while many believe Hastings will bring the best out in Brooks, I am of the view Hastings needs Brooks to bring the best out in him. Let's hope they both go well.
