My wife and kids had to stay home for the 7 days. I know testing requirements have changed tho

They've given up on contact tracing for obvious reasons, todays Covid guidelines as i know it are,
(1) the infected person and the household must isolate for 7 days and remain in isolation for further 1 day if symptoms have not resolved.

(2) tell people who were close contacts from 2 days prior to the start of the symptoms including workplace,social and school.

So it's not just household, but the responsibility has been placed on the sick person to notify all those people outside of the household who were close contacts?

But the reality is some of them can't even eat, walk and talk properly while being sick with covid let alone trying to remember who were all the close contacts.

Hahaha, but seriously finnzo, whoever is infected with Covid we wish them all a speedy recovery, because i've seen that whether it's delta or omicron the suffering from it is intense and could be fatal, so take care of your families everyone.
