Peachey

It's the same as last year it's hard to tell what the players best position is, there's players that can play its about getting them to gel a team.

Unfortunately don't think madge is the best team selector.

Did he seriously say he doesn't know what position he was playing?

Seriously I'd play him at 7 and say your position is to win us the game.

You have to wonder if players do their due diligence before signing with us. Do Api and Pap know we haven’t played finals for a decade? What motivated them to come here?

Wow I thought I was the only fan that noticed this it pissed me off to no end and completely agree with your sentiments.
I coached a district cricket team years ago, one of our best players got out for a duck and he came of the field laughing.
His parents ask me why he wasn't selected for the next game, poor attitude.
Goodbye see you next season.
No one in the team had a bad attitude after that.

You guys do realise Peachy played, lock, right side centre, left side centre and hooker in that game; and your sitting there questioning his value or role in the side.
Who else in our team has that much versatility?
so? He can do stupid stuff in different parts of the field? That’s about all I saw. Pride in the jersey is a big thing in rugby league and that performance to me said I know your history as a club and I’m just here to continue the rubbish. It was BJ Leilua like.

In one of the trial games, might've been our 2nd one, Peachey threw 2 or 3 extremely lazy passes that went straight to ground when half-chances were on down the left side. I thought 'it's only a trial he won't do that once the real games start'. Lo and behold early on in the game yesterday a half chance was on down the left side, Peachey could of thrown a standard pass onto the outside man's chest: instead he throws a lazy one-handed stinker that looked like someone lobbing a dog turd over the neighbours fence, it didn't find the outside support player and the chance was blown. In a perfect world he would of been hooked immediately after that pathetic half-hearted effort.

Agree peachy will turn out to be a dud buy 100%…we will pay his freight to play for another club( if one will take him)…

Lazy players or ones with very relaxed attitudes to actually playing the game hard and full-throttle should be the last ones we look at signing. We've tried and failed with dozens of them before.
Will be interesting to see how Papali'i plays for us next year, he was absolutely everywhere for Parra the other day, just a workhorse machine who put in a massive effort. We need about a dozen of these sort of players to lift our continued pathetic performances.

I thought Papa and Lucy playing at his best would be awesome together plus 1 top prop to go with kori and Stef would be an envious pack. Hastings ½, AD ⅝ mmmmm but not to be

For his size he is versatile and surprisingly strong, I'm prepared to cut him some slack. We have players in our team who have been in the team for a few years now and they can't play together so it must be difficult jumping into a new team.
Having said that I would swap him with Hastings in leadership/captains role

Peachey is like most of the players that we have bought in recent years - surplus to requirements at their previous clubs for good reason. He has always been rocks and diamonds doubt we will see that change by coming here.
Api K and Papali the only two FG players we have managed to sign I can think of for a long while who would be desired by their current club, and others too.
