We were def the better team and would have built on Lucy's non try if awarded. They got outta gaol on that one and put us under pressure which we are very bad at. But the best part of the half was the initial forward push and Toa's efforts. Hon mentions to Madden and Garner.

Unbelievable.

I'm not usually one to bag the ref but not even letting the bunker look at that Leilua try was utter incompetence. It doesn't cost him anything, but it costs us momentum, possibly the game and then potentially even a coaches job/career.

It's either unconscious bias from the refs against us or it's incompetence. Either way, it's unprofessional and frankly disgusting.

Hopefully, we can come back and win this one just to rub it in the ref's face.
