I have said before that I feel we should get rid of the coach , but what can he produce with better players , we are slowly getting some young guys coming through , purchased some young stars of the future and started to buy quality players
eg is Papi in LL. Out , I think we are stronger
Appi in Liddel out , we are stronger
if we can some how keep going
Roberts out ? Good centre in
Kelma out , One of the guys mentioned ( Nikora in )
Tamou out , big bopper in ( Simms x 2 year )
maybe another coach walks in and just looks like a champ after we strengthen the roster Hmmm just don’t know
 
We will need to move Mr Madge on if we loose the next 2-3 games i feel.After watching last nights game and seeing the difference between Sharks players and staff compared to our players and staff, wow what a difference, all players look and seem happy (yes they are winning) but their body language tell a story, staff seem relaxed and under-control, then look at us? players look unhappy, not playing as a unit that's for sure and the staff wow, how highly strung do they look not what we need, and this all comes from a coach players don't look like they are playing for at all, and i believe if and when we move Madge on for a younger coach that understands the players the whole place will turn around. its the only way forward, we will only then attract top shelve players and stop players breaking contracts and leaving???

Well unfortunately you can’t stop the media asking the question. I’ll admit I didn’t see the interview but I’m sure he did not say Joey is wrong. I’m sure he said pretty much if we are performing we he sees no reason why Brooks shouldn’t get picked for representative honours, he sees how hard he works each day and knows how hard he puts in. They are qualities that the rep players have.
So he is basically responding by saying if he keeps working hard he’ll get there.
Would of been a been a more appropriate heading of an article but I guess it doesn’t get the clicks your looking for does it.
 
Who has improved in our squad over the last 4 years. When you can’t even count the players that have improved on one hand I would say there is a problem with the coach. I want to like him and no one can deny his passion but the game has past him by. Can someone in the club please just put him to pasture.

Actually think moving Madge on early, even if it doesn't change the overall season result.

It will extinguish all the media heat, which could lead to much better footy, confidence, combinations etc so we actually hit 23 in a much better spot then "starting fresh" in 23 with a new coach

Have to agree now, took me 20 weeks last year. 3 weeks this year.

Tonight was a battle of a bad coach and a good coach with what looks like bad rapport with his squad. The bad coach won.

Yeh I feel the boys showed up, could’ve done better, but yeh, I think tonight was a coaching/preparations issue

Even luci comes with his faults demps. Correct me if I’m wrong but Madge would have coached up to 50 guys in the 4 years he has been here. There is no development mate. It’s time for a change but I have thought that now for 2 years.

Not even sure it's tonight mate. For me the pressure is so high and no one in the club knows how to feed on that.

In good clubs pressure is an opportunity to show your class. For us it's like a weight. I think Madge doesn't mind it but the organisation as a whole just buckles.

For example, I don't think we were tactically good under cleary, at the beginning of 18 I think he took the pressure away so the boys could just play. We stood up consistently for a couple of months before the wheels fell off because no one expected us to do anything with our horror draw.

Cleary wasn’t at the club long enough to give an accurate judgement.
Madge has had his time.
I read stories often about boxers getting hammered, getting knocked out and losing important fights.
They get a new trainer and then come back to redeem themselves.
The Tigers have gone backwards.
We need a new man in charge, we need to redeem ourselves.
Because currently, our approach/Gameplan just isn’t working.
Ppl say it’s more then the coach blah blah blah, but the fact is, we have gone backwards under Madge.
