At this stage I can't see any other way to get To'a a run than to give Peach a spell and reshuffle the backline.
We seem to have too many ballplayers and no Big bobpers like Stef to charge at the line, bend it.
Sounds like Sheens is working on that right now with the 2 Sharks players and Nanai [think Nanny is no go]
Need some cavalry real quick.

I doubt if Madge was the one who was trying to sign him or wanted him.I have no knowledge if that was the case just a gut feeling.

Yeh good point.
Noffa was put back to reserve grade, as long as they are playing footy and getting paid.
Sitting on the sidelines waiting for a player to get injured in warms ups seem to be more of a punishment that going back to refine your skills???

No way will Brooks be at halfback. Havnt you seen enough games where he can't organise or direct a team.

He has but I don’t think he cares like most the Brooks fan club whose collective footy knowledge could barely fill an egg cup. Pretty much the mentality of a lot of the players and some running the club.

Brooks has had multiple coaches and many opportunities and his fanboys like Jedi have pulled every excuse under the sun from their behinds. It’s always been one of Taylor/Cleary/Madge’s/Farah’s/Benji’s/Forward pack’s fault for why Brooks hasn’t been unleashed. They’ll blame the waterboy before they place any responsibility on Brooks who has the footy IQ of a crayon.

Madden has shown more in a few games than Brooks has in 9 years in terms of organising and kicking (pretty damn important skills for a halfback).
 
Garner has been fantastic since he's been back. Still he would be on the bench.

Only change I'd make is swap Twal and Musgrove. To'a to replace Peachey. Offa to cover hooker if necessary.

Then, Madden at 14 when Hastings is back.

He doesn't need to. I wouldn't want Garner to take a run if Ken, Noffa, Stefano, Offa, Musgrove, Roberts etc are there. What I would expect is Garner to tackle anything that moves and hit hard in defence.

No one is a passenger, it's about playing to your strengths. If Noffa, Tuilagi, Leilua, Roberts, Kenny are in position, Garner just needs to get back and run a decoy. It's a waste of a run for him to do it as it's not going to be as effective. Garner's defence was extremely good at centre last week and he was very strong again last night when he replaced Tuilagi.

Did the call to go for 2 come from Madge? I'm not sure.
For me the disappointing thing is that we showed no confidence. If it came from upstairs, then the coaching staff showed no confidence. All we needed was a repeat set.
 
Its the basic errors in many of our players that keep us from really applying pressure and gaining momentum in games. Pushed passes, dropped balls, dumb ruck plays, Peachy stupidity, impatience with the ball. So many poor errors.
The focus on our D over recent games has seemed to coincide with less energy for attack. We don’t transition well from D to A or vice versa.
Also, it’s no excuse for losing but the reffing in the last 2 games has been outrageously biased and really made it difficult for us.
 
Rep level front row, million dollar edge, most wanted No13, gun junior half combination and speedy outside backs. Sounds like WT wish list but in actual fact is GC Titans and we had them for 79 minutes. A decent ref, we win. Bit early to panic, we should be getting right behind them.
 
I wouldn't be making too many changes to a side who pressured the GC to look ordinary.
Have to find a place in the side for To'a and possibly drop The 🍑
Injuries not talked too much about but we do have some time to get players up for the next rd
