He’s terrible. Wests player tackled after a kick as ball bounced in front of posts? No call. Bears player was on the ground ball pops out and he lets it go.

Good effort by our Magpies. Lots of promising signs.

Really good effort for a magpies team down on troops both coming into the game and within the game. Toa was good, Simpkin did good things but not often enough, Aitiasi James was good, Ogden has potential, Rua good early till injured. Halfback Taipiri is very very average, rest are at the highest level they will get to including Tuki
