If the Morris news is true it sounds a bit like what the Sharks did to Morris in the first place.
Since he went through all that I’d say he has let his management know that if a job comes up at the Tigers he would be keen but doesn’t want to make any noise other than that out of respect for his current club and Madge.
What goes around comes around and Morris doesn’t seem like the sort of bloke to put Madge in that same situation.
I’d say by round 8 the club will advise Madge that this is his final year. Whether or not it’s immediate will ultimately be up to Madge.

Why can't Sheens coach us for 2 years? Bennetts nearly the same age and he is still coaching? Get some systems in place with Morris his assistant groomed to take over.

If this eventuates then he will get sacked. Madden is no star but he hasn't had a chance unlike another that won't be mentioned.

Its still in the very early stages which is why there’s no media coverage yet but they did try to recruit last year before Sheens arrived for Ciraldo he already said no same with Flano from what my source told me the club isn’t looking for a rookie they want someone that’s at least coached first grade only options in the NRL are Ciraldo, Flano and Morris so unless the other 2 have a change of heart most likely Morris is next coach

Just anyone that can attract some players, possibly with some connections. Our squad is horribly lacking especially in terms of leadership. Just need a coach that can connect with players.

I think Ciraldo would do better in that department. If we are to sack Madge.

The club can back Madge but plan beyond him. There’s no rule against that.
I’m not sure Morris is the right guy but from the sounds of things he seems to be the only guy willing. That may be how the news came about that he might be our next coach ‘in waiting’

Brooks hasn't done anything for 2-3 years. Should we continue with something doesn't work. He should be the no 14 because he can cover a few positions.

Think Hastings should be 5/8 for now. See what happens though if he might have to move to lock. Doesnt have the defence for it though

Still commanding a big salary and like I said the person that replaces him has to make big waves Madden making a ripple.

It’s clear our administration is much more about keeping appearances than actually doing a job.

I agree changes need to be made - from the players all the way through the entire JV.

However, the performance of Brooks was appalling. Forward pass in a great position, not getting to dummy half ontime etc etc

The performance from Ken M was equally appalling. He could not give a rats.

Toa whom I thought might be someone going forward could be good, was so slow. The try where I think the Sharks got to 20 points and Nofo copped it for being a turnstyle, this guy was worse. I watched him jog (more like walk) behind the play and then the Sharks player ran from the sideline to place the ball under the posts. Gutless effort.

The performance was like the Dogs game last year and also the Newcastle game this year.

Out of the forwards only Luc and Joe tried, The backs well Madden perhaps the rest just dogged it.

I undertsand we don't have the quality players but most footballers don't get the opportunity to play FG and the ones that do, should put 100% effort in - not just at training - on the field where it counts.
