If we sack Madge, the result could be worse performances. Then we find out the hard way that he was a good coach.

You could justify it if we were being belted every week, but that’s not the evidence.

If I could take issue with him, he doesn’t seem to be getting enough players up per match consistently and that seems to have been a problem for him for ages. Then we’ve had some resilience issues for awhile now.

You listen to Aussie Jim and apparently everyone’s working hard and Brooksy is kicking goals in his sleep in training.

So something lost in translation in game day.

It’s the justification for dismissing him that looms large.

We get rid of him and the team collapses and it’s seen as another fail. So that’s a risk on its own. There will be a couple of honeymoon wins for the new coach of course, but beyond that?

I'm hoping he has a much more hands on role than what's being reported, I'm not 100 percent if what Rothfield said is true because I also remember him saying last year Sheens was the best signing we've made in years and Sheens himself said he won't make any knee jerk reactions in regards to the coaching, now all of a sudden the story is Sheens role is much more basic in scope, more of a p.r position on behalf of the board. Iv got no idea what's true.
I hope he has a greater influence than just as a p.r rep.
