Bob Askin would be my choice as most corrupt government/politician followed by Scammo and his crew with Joe Bjelke Peterson in third spot.All of these are from the right wing of politics as one of them reportedly kept on saying "Don't you worry about that"

Remember listening to Joe Bjelke Petersen as a kid on 60 minutes. He was talking about making Qld a separate country and fielding it's own military.

Gee, I reckon if Qld did that and invaded NSW they'd be in Hornsby in a week. We'd have no chance against them lol.

The Murdoch print media were complicit in that, just as they are to this very day in controlling most of the day's news which gets regurgitated elsewhere, including questioning on the ABC of such BS.

Question for those that state that the ABC has a bias towards the Labor party, do you actually watch the news programs and please name the presenters that you claim do?

I have mentioned labor politicians elsewhere in this thread about them being corupt, both Wran and Obeid.The 3 right wing politicians i mentioned are the ones who have overseen the most corrupt governments in my lifetime (i am almost 70).

Respect your opinion and agree on Askin. Problem with Askin was nobody knew until after he was gone. One of the most corrupt politicians I recall was Rex Jackson, a Labor Minister for Corrective Services in NSW in the 1970s and 1980s. He was caught taking bribes for approving the early release of prisoners and sent to prison himself. Ironically, he got early release.
 
Just like in America, both sides are as bad as each other, yet supporters on both sides only see what they want to see. At least we haven’t sunk to the level of US politics, where every Democrat and Republican want each other locked up. Gone are the days of policy in the US, all that country has become is a cesspool where they want to jail their political opponents

No way. American politics under Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon have become really screwed up.

We have two middle right parties. I don't even view either party as bad. I'm voting Labour. There are two reasons. Most importantly for me Morrison screwed up with his religious bill. There was no need for it. The second reason is they've screwed the budget and I have on confidence in the Liberal party managing our economy going forward. It's not that I think Labour will be significantly better and I accept the Liberal party has been in government during a tough time. We've screwed our kids over though. The level of debt we've accrued is unacceptable. I also notice that everyone is after higher pay or more subsidies and no one wants to pay higher taxes to pay the debt back. I don't like that culture.

I don't think Morrison is a bad person. I don't think he has been that bad. He has been in power during some rough times. I like the Liberal Treasurer. He always speaks well. I think the NSW liberal government have done a really good job.

Yeah, that NSW government is in my lifetime, though not within my memory, so maybe I should have stated such.
