Garner for Kikau sounds like one of our “replacement” deals…

Mac isn’t gonna go anywhere, he gets fired Sheens leaves too and if he leaves no one will even come close to fixing the club, Sheens is the only chance the club has of being fixedThat would be deeply concerning. Mac has already been sacked by the club twice for being useless, playing favourites and letting his relationships cloud his judgement so we sign mates rather than the best players we can. And he got sacked by the Dogs too. He doesn't have the runs on the board and really should be removed from the club ASAP
hope they rot tbh dont like their clubworth a look if its only 40% of freight, they cant cover Elliott n Munster, basically all juniors on minimum already.really enjoy if /when Gus gets out of this
I'd take Walsh any day over Ponga.Ponga and Munster are the big fish. Both can be a gamechanger but for alot less we could get a smart very young pickup who is years younger & we chased hard before.
Walsh doesn't want to move to NZ.
Brisbane, Dolphins and Titans all have fullbacks.
Hope we are putting the hat in the ring aggressively
Its hardly a cleanout - they are all fringe FG or reggies.; I'll take notice when Nofo, Brooks and co get a tap on the shoulder.Let the cleanout begin
Doesn’t surprise. Be nice to free up some of the funds these kids are getting overpaid for. What was Hartigans strategy? Buy all the best young talent on overs and hope some of them catch on? Meanwhile only have 2nd rate cash available to sign senior players so we pick up misfits, rejects and redemption stories?Forget about dillon, he is gone, won’t play many games here again, I’m hearing mr Mac has been ringing around player managers telling them there players should look elsewhere, he’s one, Simpkin and talau are others along with the back rower Simpkins. There is more to come. Don’t shoot the messenger.
Can see him working out really well for the Panthers. Most likely will be a transition signing like Momiroski was last year. From the Herald

I'd be taking a new approach to signings. Why not grab both? We need at least 4 in the rotation who will get regular NRL gametime
In saying that Doorey is in the Blore bucket of injury hit lists
Knights pull out of negotiations with Kylin Ponga.
Dolphins or ? bound.
Yep, he should go. High on the list of priorities for any self respecting footballer..money and winning.Take it and run Luke
Opportunists, looking for short term solutions..void of any strategic planning. All it does is take the air out of existing players. One of the reasons we are residing in the bottom of the ladder.Doesn’t surprise. Be nice to free up some of the funds these kids are getting overpaid for. What was Hartigans strategy? Why did we sign Simpkin when we still had Farah and Liddle was reportedly his long term replacement at the time?
Meanwhile we hadn’t had a fullback since Tedesco and Papenhazen left and no junior prospects at all yet we never thought to try and recruit Walsh instead.
They say Sam Walker is the best young talent to debut in a decade or so, I would say Walsh is pretty close but our recruitment team only tried to sign him after we already signed Daine Laurie. Why?
He will become an even better player under Cleary's coaching and playing in that red hot Panther's team. I'd like to see him stay with WTs. He has a lot to offer and his versatility is great for the squad. Salary cap wise, it is a smart decision by the Panthers. From the Herald

I watched Dillon closely in the U20s. He is fast, dynamic and makes things happen but with that error in him at the back at times. I always believed Scolari was the player who had the rounded game in his repertoire - pace, attack, great defence, toughness and that spirit to win Gould often speaks about. It's just my view but Scolari is the one. That would be deeply concerning.
