TEAM LIST Wests Tigers Team v South Sydney

Team List
I think it's more like you've grown a coat of armour CB over the years to protect you from disappointment.
We still have our rare days where we feel a high level of intoxication and pure ecstacy of winning against all odds.
We hardened warrior supporters are entitled be feel euphoria now and then.
It's easly to take armour off than to penetrate it.
We will not be beaten!!

Absolutely mate. The amount of times we've seen the team have a crack and earn themselves a win only to capitulate the following week has made most fans pretty jaded. One thing I've learned in the last ten years is a win is never guaranteed.

If, and it's a big if, they turn up like they did against Parra, they're going close to another win. Having Hastings there revving eveyone up will be key.

I'll play the devil's advocate here and say that TM is improving.
I think it is a confidence thing with him.
He has the build and ability to show some mongrel but hides in his shell.
If someone can get in his ear and inject him with some adrenaline and rev him up he'd be a real asset.
Once again, if he went to the storm Bellamy would have him playing like a bull.
His improvement maybe that Cayless has got into his ear....time will tell I guess.

Mikaele runs hard, but has hands like feet, is lazy in the ruck and is often caught flat footed moving in defence. He's shown zero improvement and while Seyfarth isn't the worlds best attacking forward, he shows committment in defence and hits like a truck. I'd much rather him in the 17 than Mikaele.

Fair point mate, you know I'm a Seyfarth fan. He's a keeper.
I think Madge was trying to go with big boppers to counteract the Eels big pack.
As it turned out our middle was strong for most of the game.
I think if Madge were to select the team in hindsight he would have put in Seyfarth because the game was more open than he imagined IMO.

I’d hate to see this place become the sterile, snow flake world that society is increasingly becoming. When I talk footy with friends, the banter includes insults and fiery disagreements. There is clearly still a line (racism, homophobia, threats of violence etc) and I think most reasonable people know where that line is. Fire up people, let’s show the footy team how it’s done.
No chance this forum will become a sterile snow flake mate, there are too many characters who support a very frustrating football team.
You've annoyed people as I certainly have, but I think where we get out of control [once again me included] is when it becomes obvious that there is a personal agenda and they can't let go and move on.
The term 'lets agree to disagree' should be used more in some cases.

Just to add onto this.

Seyfarth as a prop rotation is wasted for us he offers zero impact, if anything he has been costly this year.

Seyfarth has played 5 games, had double the minutes to Mikaele & hasn't made the same amount of meters as Mikaele despite doing more hitups.

Meters is one of our biggest issues, you don't replace an ineffective forward with one being more effective. In NSW Cup Seyfarth also struggled for meters.

Defensive wise Seyfarth tackle efficiency is also lagging @ 95.3% + Missed 5 tackles (he missed 3 more in NSW Cup) behind Mikaele @ 96.4% missing 1.

If we look into the errors Seyfarth has 4 errors to Mikaele 1.

Right now Seyfarth performance are doing nothing to warrant being picked infront of Mikaele.

Fair enough, Madge obviously agrees with you and considers his impact on the ball more valuable than his work off of it.

If we show up like we did against the Eels and with them missing their best player in Mitchell, we can definitely take this one. Souths are nowhere near as good as they were last year.

IMHO, we again acquired too many of the same type of props - Tamou, Twal, Sayforth, and we need only one of them in the team. If only we can replace them with J W-H, Fanua-Blake, and Papalii type players🙏

Josh McGuire. Closest current player to Gallen, in both style and grubbiness. Loves bashing it up the middle.
