This is certainly an interesting topic considering many wanted Brooks gone, but waiting to see how this partnership develops. Doueihi will be brought back slowly. A few have discussed directly with him about putting on some baulk & becoming a ball playing 13 to compliment Brooks/Hastings.
Personally I think thats the best option for the club moving forward.

After what I thought was a so so first half he scored 40 odd points and ended up with 61. I've got him as a reserve in my team so I'm happy.

Ken is lethal in the air but he still doesn't play the 80 minutes..Goes in and out of games. I like him but he just coasts alot. Like Nofo last year 🤔.just feel our wings need to be on the top of their game.

I've given so many likes to Woods hate. I just want to join the chorus and say a big no to Woods. Main reason being that he's such a soft ineffective tackler, but also just because I still think he acted with a complete lack of integrity as captain of our club and I don't want him in our colours.

But I wonder why he never became a good tackler? He's got the physical attributes, why has he never learnt to tackle hard? Can anyone even recount a big hit by him? Brooks has more big hits than him.

We have been quite creative at getting 4 on 3’s using Hastings deep into the line and playing out the back.

A. Hastings will get a broken nose soon
B. Wingers will start racing in and clobbering the last passer

That’s my tip.

He is all about self preservation. Same as in attack, he never, ever takes a hard hitup. He‘ll let the small forwards and the wingers do the dirty stuff then he’ll jog it up on tackle 4 or 5, trying to score post contact meters, all the while causing a slow play the ball. This pads his stats which helped him play Origin and Test footy.

He actually was a really good player for a time, I think he used to run harder. I think you're right about self preservation strategy, even in his last year's at our club when he was still a rep player he got into running backwards-slow play the ball-weak defender trick.

I started to feel a bit sorry for him when i got the this news. He really made a bad call leaving.

I watched him closely on Monday, and his go forward and 2nd phase play is good. Problem is his defence. JWH came on and his first run ran straight at Woods and through him. No footwork, no bracing with a big bump, just ran straight through him.

I have zero sympathy. He took the money to go to the dogs when we needed our captain.

I even refuse to listen to 2MMM when he is on.

On my list for life.
