Canterbury coach Trent Barrett has defended the fact Phil Gould took charge of a video and training session on Tuesday...
Barrett confirmed that Gould -the general manager of football-addressed the players in a video session following a 34-14 round 7 loss to the Broncos, part of which the coaching icon labelled unacceptable..

I smell a coaching dump at Belmore....what do you guys reckon...

He is already dead, just doesn’t realise it.

Gould's shadow has overtaken Barrett...
I'd rather have a single coach under pressure (like we've had) that a minder that then takes over. This said, is it possible that Sheens may have (covertly) advised Maguire, to change a few things without having the same presence as the (finger in every pie) Gould?? Doesn't matter if he has, but it is not quite as bad a look as over Belmore way..
imho, of course.

I wouldn’t be surprised to hear Sheens masterminded the Brooks manoeuvre

I’m having trouble getting my head around a club’s football manager, who is also a player manager, telling the coach to ‘step aside while I show you how to coach,’ after having said he doesn’t do any coaching around the joint and also after telling the public he decides when their half will play?
I think the dogs are in real trouble, which is hard to understand given the players they signed.
