Woods can jack it. I know plenty on here think he's just a big oaf who got played, but he's also a snakey one too. As captain of the club he actively shopped around our best player in Tedesco to get himself a good gig elsewhere. He's a conniving dog and if the club has any self respect they'll never let that log back in through the doors of Concord to earn a pension. He is well past his best. The only one I would entertain coming back is Teddy and even then he's visibly on the slide now.

Unless he's playing for the Magpies in RMC, I don't want him back.

I'd be excited if it is to replace the young winger Sheens is reportedly chasing from the Eels (reported by the POM). Other than that, I don't believe he offers anything we don't already have in our NRL backline. We need pace and Paula is big, strong and just serviceable in the pace dept.

No to Woods agreeing with reasons already outlined by others.

There really appears to be a real lack of quality Centres in the NRL at present.

The fact NSW has played two full backs in Turbo Tom and Latrell in the centres is telling.

From the list The Pom provided Williams from the Sharks and younger winger from Eels Matt Komlafe appear good and obtainable options. I would take Bird but believe he will stay put.
Big Joe has been great this year so glad he has taken up his 2023 option.

I hope Garner is re-signed for 2023 as he provides cover in backs and forwards and would not be on big dollars.

I liked Sam McIntyre who went to Titans. Thought he was showing some promise in 2021.

I understand the animosity towards Woods given the circumstances of his departure from the club. But that doesn't detract from the fact he's still a handy player. Not elite by any means, but he makes good metres and can slip an offload. There's a reason why Melbourne, Parramatta and Manly are reportedly courting him for next year if he doesn't take the option at the Dragons. Just to be clear, I'm not advocating for his return, there is too much water under the bridge.

Another one I don't want back is Tedesco. He's a mercenary who tried to leave the club twice and never showed any passion for the club or fans. Worst of all, he left to play for the roosters who are the embodiment of everything wrong with the NRL and the gross disparity between the haves and have nots.

By the time Teddy leaves the roosters and wants to come back to us he will be a shit player too, if he came back to us in ‘24’’ for whatever reason I wouldn’t like it but he would have to be a world beater when he came back to play for us again, he left us for greener pastures when we needed him the most and he decided to leave
