The Herald has obtained the document the NRL salary cap auditors send clubs to keep agents honest and determine how much they should pay their players.

Nofoaluma apparently is the third highest paid winger in the comp currently at just below 500k per year. Brooksy fourth highest paid halfback apparently on 960k...

All the suggested player salaries in that article are guesses - the document they claim to have obtained from the NRL does not reveal individual player salaries.

It does not say Brooks is being paid $960K, it says Michael Chammas guesses he is being paid $960K.

Hopgood is a fine player and the young winger from the Eels sounds impressive. Nikora is a chance of coming to WTs. Combine that the Papali'i and Koriseau and we've had a pretty good recruitment drive considering the Dolphins are entering the competition,

6.5 a bit steep mate, regurgitating info gets you a base rate of 3 - adding names like Tex Hoy and talk of junior program nets him another 2.

Seems a no brainer for everyone...except Eels may have loftier goals tbh....like Simpkins after his last match where finally he showed something.

just curious, what do you want him to say? He can't bullshit and say something that isn't actually happening, so assuming thats all thats happening I don't know what your expecting? A few points in there weren't 'regurgitated'.

The Pom update may have disappointed some as there were no big names close to signing, but it did highlight they have a long term plan and are not going for a short term fix. The fact that they are looking for young talent blocked in good systems is heartening. Also they are sticking to their guns and not been pressured by players requests for longer deals.

This rebuild phase was always going to be a long road

10/10 for the messenger but it's about a 3/10 for the news on the recruitment front. Not much to get excited about. Hopgood seems like a decent target.

On Liddle wonder if we could look for a player swap of sorts and if so I would be looking at the options with the Raiders & Manly for forwards, Panthers & Eels for backs. Even if we get a young kid who will grow with what we are building it still would become a benefit.
