I think once all the top 17 players are back and fit,we will see a different WTs outfit again,,,remember we are getting through these games on the bare minimum with who we have to play...the team is doing a fine job at competing albeit Madge cops it and people want a coach like Flanno...on a level platform with a fit team Madge would have had about 3 more wins to our credit this year....credit to Madge for trying to get the best out of a makeshift side week to week....

I didn’t know Flanno is an ex Magpie. I know he was an ex Dragon as he played in the same side as my boss. He did talk both the team and Madge up in the commentary yesterday big time.

Maybe Flanno can see what flack Madge gets unfairly,Flanno had some pretty good players to coach at times and can see how poor our roster is and Madge is doing his best with what he has got...

I can't believe we picked Gildart ahead of the peach at centre.

I know Peach has been in the dog house for a while for his attitude/lack of discipline but I couldn't believe it when the team list came out.

Maybe it turned out for the best with Big Ken only lasting a minute and a half and having the Peach on the bench, but on the other hand I think it was Gildart that put Ken out of the game..

Wish Ken could stay healthy and maintain a good attitude, pre game I had him down for 2 tries in that left corner.

Sorry but I'm sick of excuses for madge it's his team selection and squad. Need a better back up option then toa. If manly had their top squad then yes I'd agree but they didn't and we still got smashed... NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Madge has half his NRL side out and is getting this team to play for 80 and compete...
Maybe you need to understand the job he has to do while not having fit NRL players to choose from....

I still can't believe that no one in the media acknowledges how hard hit we have been with injuries coming into this season along with the injuries we have suffered since the season started.

Really annoys me when they talk about how hard hit some other teams are that actually have reasonable depth when they have a player or two out.

I suppose we should be grateful that some are actually mentioning that our defence has improved and that we are much grittier and have that never give up attitude, next thing you know, they may actually question some of the more questionable decisions that the referees and bunker are making.

I can only dream.

Backs lost that game imo but hey, we knew that with all the shake ups.
I watched the game again and started writing and noting times of AJ's and others stuff ups, when it got to 6 for AJ, I gave up on him.
His effort is commendable but his downfall is he goes into goo gar land, lacks anticipation and his hands are not good.
I want him to play top footy, ideally he should've come back thru reggies but we needed him.
I said earlier that perception can change. If you and I watched it a third time we might reverse our take on it.
Also your mightset at the time [mood] can effect judgement.
It's a good thing I'm not coach because the only person guaranteed a spot is Ronnie Palmer.

Yea the squad is depleted with injuries with no depth .we r still having a go for 80 mins .I'm happy with that until more troops arrive

I smelt a rat yesterday [and no it wasn't my slippers] when Flanno was constantly talking up the Tigers.
I thought that Madge maybe just keeping the chair warm for him???

Manly were hit with injury too
 
I'm glad they're having more of a go but I'm not gonna be proud of them for it... it's the absolute bare minimum of their job to have a crack.

We conceded some very soft tries and literally dropped the footy off the kickoff and conceded a try two seconds later with six defenders tackling the bloke.
