Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

But how much would it cost the Tigers to get him?

Half of what he's on... At best!!
He's been bog average for a middle....
Seems to have plenty of Mongrel - It's just not working over here...

You could argue he's in an average side - But he's a middle... Middles can still do their job in an average side.
You could also argue his side is average due to him not doing his job in part...

Tapine made him look like a reserve grader on the weekend - And he's also in an average side.

I don’t think he is overpaid there.
They had this section on 100% footy last Monday on the salary cap and gave examples of wages in each position he was on 580k from memory. 650-700 would sure him up and give us much needed experience. His what 25? Plenty of growth still, a backrower doesn’t forget how to run and tackle. Maybe the roosters style doesn’t enable him to shine?
He's on $800,000. Heard this from someone who would have a pretty good idea

We just need to spend money and buy some players, it seems strange that other teams seem to be able to buy players when they want or need to , but for some reason the TIGERS seem to me to go on and on and on, and then nothing anyway, just get this done and move on to the next player.

Thompson, Tapine, Aitken

All been recently approached. Surprise surprise, @Lee Bulgin was on the money.

Luke wants marquee prop money and we already have Musgrove signed longterm, and looking to re-jig Tamou, while Joey is unhappy at Canberra. Crichton likely iffy

Move could be happening 🔜
Where u hearing this mate?

Strange that Foran picks the Gold Coast when the Dolphins are crying out for a signing for next year and don’t have a half or a 5/8 lined up. Either if Munster is their target it will be almost impossible for them to get him there a year early as they have no one to swap him with.

I think it's a panic buy. Dolphins have enough older players and don't need a 33 year old broken down halfback.

He made Garner look like JAC on the weekend.

Are there more dev players joining this?

Guessing the suspensions to Kennedy and Ramien aren't going to help us get Dykes
On the flip, it may help us if he doesn't make the squad to Magic Round as he may feel a long way down the pecking order.

I'm predicting IN: Mulitalo & Hiroti with their 7 being

1 Tracey
2 Katoa
3 Hiroti
4 Talakai
5 Mulitalo
6 Moylan
7 Hynes

Trindall on interchange as Utility.

True....
Something stinks about it all though, Don't you think?
- Current state of origin rep player, Successful at a successful club.... Should be a walk through....
if he's ringing around - He's not calling us....

Parra also losing a heap in the back row next year - So are Storm...
he wants to get paid (Overs)
I don't think he's coming because of a relationship with the coach - Or to help us on the up...

He wants a big pay day before he goes back to retire in Union.
Yeah, there's no way the player, the agent or the NRL would let him go from a million dollar contract to one under 600k. 750-800k sounds about right.

He's only on a Development contract, can't see one players getting suspended for a week or two changing his position in the pecking order, i'm sure they have other fullbacks in their top 30 who'd get a run ahead of him.
