Was expecting this could occur. especially with the sharks resigning Nikora, Williams and Hamlin Uele.
He is a bit of project player, brings the aggression however with Musgrove getting some game time and improving weekly, Pele may be the perfect replacement for Mikalee given him game time and time to develop further.
If this is the reason we lost Millar it’s a shame but we possibly have recruited a player more ready for 1st grade.

I don't get how someone who apparently coached some of these guys in PRIMARY SCHOOL would have any idea on their contractual dealings several years later. Do people really keep in touch with their primary school teachers/coaches, and even if they did talking about contracts seems far fetched.

The majority of the Matts squad were on 2 year deals, I'd be surprised if Miller wasn't and if we hadn't already planned his progression and communicated this with him.

We simply can't lose him, if we want to build ourselves as a club that breeds its own talent we have to keep the cream if the crop with our first excellent junior team in a decade. I also can't help but think if our COE was ready it would excite these juniors to have access to such world class facilities.

It is also payable to players who have played 10 years in the NRL .. James Tamou Tyrone Peachy also qualify..
