Use that function it works well blocking all the repetitive posters. there is a lot of quality and quantity on here to still get your WTs fix . You can also undo it if you change your mind.

I can tell you the problem with some members on here,and its not just the trolls or new account that comes on for garbage input or to bellittle...
Everytime we have a discussion on any type of topic but mainly footy,someone thinks their opinion is the only one while others want to discuss why their opinion is better,it breaks down to a salty or maybe abusive conversation...
I put it down to RESPECT,that is to other members and the mods,the abusive people or salty people cant agree to have a differing opinion to the conversation at hand,therefore not respecting the others opinion but typically thinking they are right...

I believe if a forum member comes up with something original and has put an effort into the topic then it should be supported.
At least given a go without the topic being ambushed for personal agendas.
The last thing we need is for new members to feel intimidated and not join in.
When someone says something that you are really aggravated about, consider a private conversation before bringing the topic down.
I joined in 2017 after watching the forum ebb and flow for years.
I came on and felt out of my league.
Now that I'm nearly on the mend from shit loads of surgeries I decided to start posting again under a new name.
I then realized that my old forum name was the same as an old time poster that wasn't liked and that could have been a reason why I got the cold shoulder.
The point I'm trying to make here is that peoples perception of others made from posts or emails can be way off track. The written word can often be misconstrued.
A simple statement can stick in ones mind and the shutters come down.
I think that there has to be opposition in all things as does respect.
The forum, apart from one or two agitators, is a pretty cool place to be part of.
I'm not perfect, but I'm trying to be a better person.
It's something that we all should try to be, better humans!

Maybe they need to be tiertary educated.

The answer is Kul was lobbied to reduce moderation, which he did, so we have a new standard for posting.
In some ways it works out - less arguments with mods, less strict about borderline comments. In other ways it does not work out - more bullshit, more arguments and petty nonsense, slower to ban potentially abusive users.
Of course nobody wants a Police State, but you have to give the police some powers. Personally I liked it better the way it was being managed before, and I'll say if for the 100th time - I have no idea why people need or manage to get on the wrong side of the moderators. Maybe Willow was indeed a power-hungry narc, but I don't know the guy and personally I've never run afoul of him in in 20 years or participation.

My favourite type of poster is the type who says they'll challenge anyone who posts opinion as fact, and then goes on to do the same. Or meets opinion with derision and/or abuse and then complains when they are treated as such.

It's pretty obvious to me that there are 2 or 3 posters on here that swear OFTEN, and it's starting to sound like the Bullydogs forum...and reasonable Wests Tigers supporters DON'T WANT OR APPRECIATE THAT imo.
Nothing wrong with the occasional swear word particularly if it's part of a humorous post.
I complained to the Mods about posts a couple of times recently but I got no feedback as to any action being taken, so I assumed 'no action was taken'.
I havent bothered to complain again as I was given an apparent 'permanent' ban from the Forum [by a Mod that is no longer a Mod, not Cochise btw] about 18 months ago for lodging to many complaints about a certain Poster that I believe was giving me a hard time for no good reason.
@Spartan117 There's nothing wrong with us all being mega passionate about Wests Tigers as long as we are RESPECTFUL in what we write ie...cut out the 'repeated' swearing
But when that LACK OF RESPECT is shown by a current Mod, that leaves the door open for all and sundry to be disrespectful imo.
If the task of deleting repeated disrespectful posts is to big a job for the current Mods, why aren't these repeated offenders banned more often... or completely.
A perfect example of RESPECTFUL/interesting and humorous posting 'in telling it like it is' with no bs @Cobarcats... to name just one.
I don't think the standard has changed much. You either enter into an argument or you don't. The discussions still centre on the same themes - will this coach be the one to see Brooks play finals footy , which one should be dumped or should both go, and or it all starts finishes with Pascoe.
