TEAM LIST Wests Tigers Team v Canterbury Bulldogs

Team List
A win in this game doesn't mean jack. The dogs are playing atrociously, had we beat the cowboys or manly the week before then you feel there is some progress. But as it stands given this game isn't a freebie it just shows we are a long way off even getting out of the bottom 4.

But if we win this, get some momentum and roll the Bunnies again it means we hit the bye with some optimism and players coming back.

It is a big game for us. At a sold-out Leichhardt too.

Parra and Souffs say hi

That was a few weeks ago & means nothing now.

Since then we have lost 3, nearly conceded the same amount of points in those 3 games than we did in our 1st 5 games we lost.

You do also realise to get out of the bottom 4 we are 2 games behind based on F&A...

I know all teams have injuries but I think in our case it is fair to blame the injury situation for the last few losses. Losing hooker last week was massive, on top of out already dire backline stocks.

I intentionally left off the injuries because we have had those all year even in the games we won.

Against Parra our hooking stocks were so bad we had a halfback on the bench & had to move Brooks to hooker to cover for Simpkins. Ken went off and Garner had to move into the centers.

Against Souths Laurie came off injured at around halftime, we had Madden on the bench with the hooker flip

This will be the beginning of our run.

The dogs only had one thing going for them and that was a steely resolve. Seems they wanted to play for the coach.

Without that resolve could be 40 From us this week. Even with the reggies.
Problem is now they have Mick Potter who was a Bulldogs Legend and now they really have someone to play for not some nuffie who has failed as a head coach at 2 clubs.

Still think we will win but as I have previously stated, this is a danger game, spoon on the line here.

media attention back to us and madge

This will be a tough game. We all know regardless of the Bulldogs "appointed coach", Gould will be coaching this team. Expect a very good performance from them.
They won’t be good/quality, but we will need to be disciplined to beat them. Give them a sniff and it’ll be a long night.

This is the perfect game for Jock Madden to step up and show his worth. He's had a taste of first grade, now he needs to show he belongs. Could be a make or break game for him with Doueihi's return imminent. He might not get another opportunity, which would mean another year grinding away in reserve grade.
Spot on….and if he excels over the next couple of weeks, it could force the club to ask questions about Brooks future with the club….

I'm suprised peachy has the worst ball distributing pass I've ever seen. So many hospital balls that miss the mark.

therefore, the 13 passing role didn't work and shouldn't be a 9.

he's strength is his running game and has an okay draw and pass as a centre to the wing, and does quick play the ball.

I think peach shows Maguire shortfall, while Peachy true position remains a mystery, I think it is clear you need to simplify peach game plan. Pretty much run and tackle hard. Play what you see but limit your passing and just run and tackle hard quick play the ball.

Madge instructions just wait and see what ever injury we have will just confuse the bloke.

I think hes probably better suited as a second row, centre or 13 that doesn't distribute the ball.
I agree. Was a really poor signing for a club without an offensive identity. A jack in the box type player just makes our attack clunkier than it was.
