Sheens looking to move to extend him along with Laurie and Hastings.

Doueihi is miles off being a gun as well. We don't know if he performs better at centre or 6. He needs to work on his defense in whatever position he plays. He needs a tonne of work on his decision making in the halves.

I reckon Doueihi and Hastings are two guys we can build around but Doueihi has a tonne of work to do on his game.

The problem with bashing Brooks so much is that Doueihi has heaps of flaws and there is no way he can stand up to the same criticism Brooks cops.

That was a bad post by Demps. It's like he was leading with his jaw.

Doueihi has to come back and perform where he is picked. If he gets a go at the 6 spot he has to perform a lot better than when he had that role last year.

I said it too many times that I don't want our club to pay overs.
Having said that, it will be interesting to see if the club backs Madge then within the next month we sign someone like AC.
A compromise and an assurity of who the coach is, might be what has been holding back negotiations.
If they sack Madge [which I pray doesn't happen] there's no guarantee that the new coach will bring more players.
Even with the addition of AK and Papa to our roster it will still have gaping holes that will hinder success. 🤔
 
On their own, most of our guys would crack a top 6 roster spot.

Whether they could command the money they get with us is another question.

A lot of people forget that footy is a team sport. Most of our guys would do better with more talent around them.

Adam Blair was a good example, best forward in the comp at Melbourne with Cronk, Slater and Smith around him, but struggled for us.

He'd plateaued at Melbourne we'll before we bought him.

Camroux isn't a first grader yet.

Call a spade, a spade.
Wasn't impressed with Twal this year like most and stated that openly.

Douihei is my favourite player and that aside, still think he has more to offer the team than Brooks.

Easy as that.

Yeah, not many Clearys or Harry Grants in our ranks.

Local junior who wants the club to succeed and is willing to do everything he can to take it there....

Say less.

I don't need to even justify, everyone will be saying it once AD makes his return and shows yas what's up.

Same way Brooks was never losing the 7, to losing the 7, to I wonder what happens next....

And so it was written.
