KOE Cup Team List: Rd 13

Souths were a much bigger and more powerful side than us. Their back 5 would all be 100kgs+. Our backs would be lucky to be pushing 90kgs. We keep focusing on players whom have the wrong body types. And then we can't Work it out from our own try line. Happens in every grade.

Pauga went off injured late, hopefully that gives someone else the opportunity they need to cement the spot in the backline.
 
Just watched 2nd half KOE cup ? I don't think anyones form here got any relevance to NRL which is much faster ,harder tougher
But like madden not based on nsw cup form but on his nrl form
Think he should be our no 6 . Brooks either 9 or 14

No...not improving at all if we are being honest.

A month ago this state cup team was depleted due to NRL side injuries. Half were out each week.

Today we had seven players who have played NRL or have long NRL contracts like Tuki (a complete waste)...and yet conceded 36 to a Souths side who had several out.

Dev players like Ogen, Sakura and Peni who are a complete waste.


We have a lot of NRL experience / NRL deals / time spent on dev contracts...that will basically amount to very little.

When firsts are as poor as our team, you need a state cup team knocking down the door and demanding to be promoted. This state cup team is very poor.

The only guy who will make it IMO is Justin Matamua in 2024.

Thought madden tried hard, wish tupou would do more in this grade , can be so damaging but I suppose he’s only young, and learning, a lot to work with there, Nof will be back in the top grade very soon, doesn’t Matter how he plays in second grade, Our forwards have cost us all year in second grade , weak and cant win tackle 1 or 2 in d, and we lose every set while defending, interesting comment tunks re favourtism, I heard earlier in the year something like this, but unless your a fly on the wall in those Tuesday meetings, you will never know I suppose.

I've been put off with his attention seeking crap when he scores.
He interrupted one of our boys being interviewed which had cockyness written all over it.
He needs to know it's not all about him.
He's an attacking weapon but defensively he is sus.
He had his attitude adjustment by a ban recently but will that be enough.
There should be something in contracts that protect both parties...is there a performance clause?
