That's a bit of a logical fallacy. Unless the coach retires what top 8 side is realistically turfing their coach.Eh why would you come here or the dogs. I'd wait for a top 8 side to be available.

Maybe. If it was me and I looked.at the Tigers, there would be positives and negatives but to be honest I'd stay as an assistant at the premiers.until I could see some improvement at board level. 5 coaches in ten years? Why would you trust them to keep their word.If I was a dud coach I'd agree with you. If I had confidence in my ability then I'd grab the opportunity.

He'd have a lot in common with our players then.My honest opinion is that anyone who'd knock back that offer is a pea heart.
Is the end goal of an assistant not to be a head coach? If opportunity presents itself then you believe in your ability to grab it with both hands and deliver. Roosters were a basket case when Robinson went there, look what he did with them. CC if by some chance your reading this, man up and get on board. My honest opinion is that anyone who'd knock back that offer is a pea heart.
Where did they say that? Who said it?9 news are reporting that Ciraldo will knock back both the Tigers & Bulldogs and remain with Penrith
I agree, but I would argue we are probably already 1-2 years into that 5-year rebuild, after 2-3 or so years cleaning out the Cleary mess. The distinction is the club decided that Madge is no longer the person so see out the last 3-4 years of that process. Thanks that was a very interesting response and one I had not totally considered.
I agree that the coe and the footy budget are huge steps in the right direction and a definite positive for this administration. The coaching stuff is questionable imo.
But its hard to cop a new 5 year rebuild from the group that gave us the last 10-year rebuild if that makes sense.
Clearly not a moron CC. Shame. Is the end goal of an assistant not to be a head coach? If opportunity presents itself then you believe in your ability to grab it with both hands and deliver. Basket case? They played in a grand final just 2 year prior to Robinson signing. Also Robinson was the defence coach of the roosters in 2010.Is the end goal of an assistant not to be a head coach? Look it's history, but:Wasnt there also the question of medical clearances before the contracts were signed. I recall somewhere that at least Packer and maybe one of the others (Matulino?) refused to get a medical clearance and we still singed them. If true the WT reps who recommended and signed the contract should be out.
Cleary has had a few health issues of late might be happy to step back into a role like Sheens/ Gould. It stands to reason that Penrith will do every thing can to retain him.
Parramatta / St George / Newcastle / Canberra far better opportunities for a young aspiring coach.I can see parra moving on Arthur if they fail in the semis again. I'd wait to see what happens there if I was Ciraldo.
Newy and saints would kill off a rookie quicker than us I reckon.Parramatta / St George / Newcastle / Canberra far better opportunities for a young aspiring coach.
I’ve changed my view and I’m leaning to Flanagan as the only option available to the tigers.
Which ever coach does take the job, having an experienced hooker and an inform experienced hooker will be a huge benefit for them.
Prehaps. Newcastle has more star power in its roster.Newy and saints would kill off a rookie quicker than us I reckon.
I like Flanagan too for us.
