Wests Tigers Coaches

Yeh....but when you are buying a car you dont accept the 1st offer hsvj.
You take the 1st offer to the 2nd mob and say this is what I have been offered, better it please 🙂
Good point but think brother @hsvjones definitely has the clear run home on this one.

Ivans blood traumary thing was almost certainly known to all of the Panther staff before Cameron’s visit to Pascoes COE

Rodent: Cameron can you take over the coaching for the week, I’m going into hospital.

Cameron: Sure, except for Monday, I’m visiting the Wests Tigers, but I’ll be sure to phone it in.

Rodent: Thanks, and the boy?

Cameron: it’s about time the little brat found his own way to training.

Rodent: Don’t you drop him or..,

Cameron: Or what? You’ll sack me? You did that already with your fekking contract renewal, you selfish toss. Fek you.

Rodent: I’m sorry.

Cameron: Text it you prick.

There’s no chance Ciraldo is not interested, he just needs to weigh things up. We are his best option by light years, as I said, if he can’t work that out, he doesn’t deserve us.

I’m not saying we are Gods Gift, just that the next coach will have a handful of good players, good juniors on the march and a truckload of cash. You could buy Sharon and make him captain and no one would complain. Call the flog a bloody “development” or “pathways” captain. Then the board will accept it with open arms.

Best of all, we are not expected to win a game until 2025. What more could a newbie want?

The new coach could do literally nothing for a year and no one will even notice. Take a holiday, fight in the Ukraine, whatever’s your go. And get paid a motza in the process.

You’re just looking forward to Ivan blowing a kiss to us using his crutch like the rest of us.

And I remember LO when their originless pack was running from the field and hiding under the benches from our drunken grandmas.

“Next man up” was a disaster for them. They’d flog us this year probably, but their coach can stay.

What’s wrong with Ivan?
Just a loving dad helping his son be the best he can be.
Theyll play their third grand final in a row this year and go back to back.

Nothing too much.

He’s a got a near fatal blood clot, he’s in fekking hospital icu, the doctors and specialists are threatening to take his leg off.

It’s pretty serious.

Hopefully it’s not up to the stage of last rites or an exorcism, depending on the situation.

Of course back in your magnificent glory days he’d be passed as fit and ready to play.

I suppose they could do a “chin graft” from the boy to try to save Ivans leg.

Might stick out a bit and the new leg could try to kick by instinct every now and again, but he could still do tic tok.

Last night the news reported he was home and was at training yesterday or is expected back today.

We sack our coach with the plan CC will come on board and turn us around. The power brokers at our club are 99% sure CC will not be able to resist the challenge. Now it would appear CC is going nowhere.

Time to start moving down a very short list. Flano must be getting excited, he probably only two knock backs from a head coach gig.

Gee it’s depressing being a WT supporter, but never boring

I still think we go the greener players coach. Think Morris would be ahead of Flanagan.

Isn't Flanagan another madge?

They are very misguided if they think attracting anyone to this club is a sure thing.

So perhaps Ciraldo is just hoping to be a life-long assistant coach and not step into the big shoes.

If true you wouldn't want him anyway. Personally I'm a bludger and I don't want to work hard but if you are ambitious then you'd jump at the Tigers role.

For anyone who saw 100% footy on Monday

To me pretty much rules out the dogs for ciraldo

Gus pretty much showed no faith in Ciraldo saying that he’s too young to take on a coaching gig (developmental club esp) and that he should stay at Penrith as he’s unproven and needs to undertand that there’s more to coaching - but then at the same time wants him as the HC for the dogs…..

Doubting a potential candidate advising him not to take the job, would make Ciraldo feel so safe with his job security if he doesn’t get results pretty quickly if he was to take the dogs job

I think it’s either us or Penrith…. the challenge of taking the tigers to the top 8 can be on of the biggest for a coach in the last 20 years, I get the inkling Ciraldo sees the potential and wants to be the guy to do it and defy the odds - hence why he took the tour and was reportedly very impressed

Or he can continue to be in Ivan’s shadow for another 5 years at least
