Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

It surprises me the lack of quality juniors coming through WT system over the years.

Other teams appear to have a ready made production line and WT appear to be left with the Gods of State Cup

I remember these GODs of State Cup where most of them were lucky to play half a dozen games and struggled with the step up to NRL.

Funny how some of these players over the years were talked up on the Forum only to be complete duds

Zac Cini, Reece Hoffman, Shannon Gallant, Oliver Clarke, Thomas Mikaele, JJ Felise/Collins, Josh Drinkwater, Lamar Liolevuve, Deluoise Hoeter, Kyle Lovett, Brandon Santi, Asp Fine, Jy Hitchcox, Kurtis Rowe, Keith Lulia, Jarrod Farlow, Shaun Spence, Esan Masters, Sitaleki Akaula, Tom Humble, Matt Groat, Jacob Miller, BMM, Blake Lazarus, Keith Eshman, Allan and Jason Schirnack, Marion Seve and the list sadly goes on.

Esan Masters should have be a very good NRL player, had the physical attributes but appears very lazy. Only played 85 NRL since his debut in 2017. Can't even make the Titans 17 after Cowboys let him go. Wasted talent and not the only one.
Delouise Hoeter plays in Brisbane.

Good bunch of jobbers there. Who remembers Nathan Milone? The guy so lame he can’t spell his surname right. 😂

I spoke to Nathan’s old man when he was playing with us. Even his old man said he was lucky and was surprised he got picked, on the quiet coz he was his son.

Need that clarified next to go or has a go. One of the worse signings of the club and appeared to be a desperate signing when quality was evading us. Funny his ex Penrith and Titans mate Bryce Cartwright can make the Eels side. The mighty have fallen
These middling former rep players that ask for 400-500 should avoided like the plague. How long before we work that out!

Think it's only test open market.

Good luck finding anything in nrl

Who's making these decisions?

The Wests Tigers have given Tyrone Peachey permission to explore the open market.

Sources close to Peachey confirmed that his management had requested permission to investigate his options and the Tigers elected not to stand in his way
Peachey was one of the Tigers’ key off-season recruits but his stint at the club could be over only a matter a months after moving from the Gold Coast.

He has played eight games this season but has languished in reserve grade in recent weeks, prompting his management to seek permission to go to market with more than a year remaining on his deal.

Doesnt surprise me at all. He hasn't delivered much I'm afraid.
Good luck 🍑

Good, he was another terrible recruit.
To think he is in the leadership squad as well.
Hope someone scoops him up.

Crazy long contract for a fringe player that was injured at the time of inking the deal..

At another club he would've never been given a crazy long contract

He just played his 50th game of NRL as well at the age of 26y, at least he is heading into what should be the prime years for a prop

let's not write off Triston Reilly after one game of league when he joined the club on Monday. Tupou had his moments early in the season and now looks our best prospect in the outside backs. I'm not saying he's in the same league as Tupou but let's judge him after he's had some time to adjust. there is next to no decent outside backs off contract and the club was forced to look elsewhere.
Tupou drowned in defense in NRL , hopeless showing, go back and look if you can
