New faces and spending $$$$$$

Widders and Rose for starters, but we have got the ball rolling here.
i dont see Cobbo attracting players to our club like Munster would.
Tiger, Cobbo is bigger than Elvis up here in Brisbane.
Players like him would attract young indigenous boys and girls to follow.
Anyway I was more interested in having a JT, a retired legend to visit schools etc.

It's hardly racist. The fact is some coaches are blinded by the physical specimen, other coaches are interested in playing abilities.
If you want to make that a racial issue that's on you.
The fact that you have offended some, even if you don't have any racism attributes, and not opologised is not nice.
You were very quick to put it back on me.
I'm sick of people making me feel as if I'm the problem.

Rolemodel players:

I really like Marty Taupau. People wrote him off this year, Guy is still kicking.
Jayson Bukuya from the sharks comes to mind. If we got John Morris as Coach, pinching Bukuya would be awesome.

Ofcourse there is Thurston who will never leave the Cowboys. Kind of like Joey Johns without the ADHD!

Stacks of good rolemodels out there. The one I wish we got:
Laurie Daily.
Guy is 100% class. It sucks that Fittler got the Blues side that Daily and Ricky built up. Sucks that we could not hire him damn you NRL>
Laurie Daley all class!!! LMFAO!

Marty "Team Kapow $$$" a good role model.... do you write your own material? Truly hilarious!!

And for the kicker - let's poach Jayson Bukuya from the Sharks FOUR years after he retired!! BAHAHAHA

I’m prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he means Nikora.

Polynesian role models, indigenous role models?
Here's a total left field idea; stop contracting dickhead players in the first place.
Here's the next crazy idea; maybe contract more white guys, the type that can think on the field.
Jarome Hughes
Scott Prince
Jonathan Thurston
Adam Reynolds
Cliff Lyons
Greg Inglis
Brandon Smith
Steve Renouf
Petero Civoniceva
Justin Olam

I could go on.

I’m not going to challenge your view based on racism, but propose a view to ponder for approaching this differently.

Perhaps, given that our game is made up of a high proportion of Polynesian and indigenous players, and intelligence on the footy field is bestowed upon the rare few regardless of race, it can seem skewed that these players “ don’t think”?

I mean, Jack Hetherington, as an example, exhibits the same characteristics I assume you’re talking about?

Adrian Morley, Ben Flower, Mark Geyer, James Graham…even our very own Josh Reynolds all brain snapped from time to time…I’m sure others could add to this list.

We just need to pick the guy that’s going to do the best job for our team. I don’t think being white qualifies anyone to do that simply on that characteristic.

Could you advise what background Adam Reynolds is?

This is a terrible post

Club won't have a go.
They could turn it all around tomorrow but won't take a gamble.
Sign Bellamy on something ridiculous and let's go from there.
He will attract players like no other.

No i mean Jayson Bukuya as a physical training coach. (not as a player)
The Sharks have done two things:
1. really intense physical players.
2. Players playing well past 32.

Jayson Bukuya appears to be the main person leading the gym and pushing the older guys to train harder. Chris H and Luke Lewis rated him as being the person who drove them harder at the gym.

We have a problem were our forward pack is soft. I was hoping Cayless would fix this. He hasn't, we need a really good physical training head to get our team firing.

Maybe Jayson Bukuya isn't the guy we need. WE NEED TO HARDEN UP AS A TEAM!
Steve Folkes once did it for us. Took over the Gym turned off the Air conditioning and got the guys working.

There are very few people who can do it. Jason Ryles did it for the Storm but isn't doing as well at Easts. Craig Fitzgibbon did it for Easts and would wressle anyone any time! The Broncos have all sorts of old players like Webcke, Petro, etc that would train people hard.

I am saying that Noddy, Brett Kimmorley isn't that person. As coach I expect him to structure our attack and we should see a scoring improvement. Brett isn't going to teach our forwards anything nor improve our teams physicality.

Were soft, we need to toughen up. No pinching XYZ player will do this, we need to change our coaching.

I don’t think he is.
He has never played for the indigenous team.
Suggesting he is indigenous based on his looks is borderline imo.
Hi, Ned, I know Adams guardians, Kim and Mark are Australian Aboriginals as is his wife Tallara.
Tallara and their children have adopted their Aboriginal heritage speaking the local lingo.
As for Adam, he grew up on the streets of Redfern and it hasn't been made public if he has indigenous blood.
I don't think he has because he opposed them in an All Stars game.
He promotes the culture and says 90% of his mates are indigenous.
Hope that helps.
