Sounds great, then get the nanas Twal, Musgrove and Tamou to break out the lemonade at half time and let Brooks sing some Taylor Swift to really inspire them, will work.Stryker, TNuts and me are the new coaches.
We'll start each game warm-up sessions with a rousing rendition of KumbayaO Lord, followed by warm ups of tunnel ball and a sprinkling of Ronnie Palmers Fairy Dust.
This is bound to get some mongrel into our team and send shivers down the spine of our opposition.
Are you ready for this, let's go tigers, let's go!
Clap clap. 👏
What do you reckon Nuts?
Cause it would, except I don't think the budget will allow lemonade...water with vegetable dye possibly.Sounds great, then get the nanas Twal, Musgrove and Tamou to break out the lemonade at half time and let Brooks sing some Taylor Swift to really inspire them, will work.
I never wanted packer. Overrated and over paid.Huh?

He’s no worse than Lodge.Musgrove is fine.
That’s only for struggling teams , Rooters are specialWhat happened to the 20k a game.
With 9 games left it should be costing them $180,000 at the least
Packer served punishment which sets him apart from others imo. I don’t agree or forget what he did thoughI never wanted packer. Overrated and over paid.
I learnt a lot about my own beliefs with Lui. Gave him a second chance after the first time. But a Leopard cant change their spots. Should have been sacked the first time and never allowed the privilege in NRL again.
He averaged 125m per game this year, which is better than any of our forwards. We have a serious lack of go forward and Lodge would help to provide some. Of course he won’t solve our problems, but 2-3 forwards who can roll over the advantage line regularly will sure help.I have nothing personal against Lodge.
But he did absolutely nothing for the Warriors - Or the Broncos before that...
What would he do for us?
More mongrel - More aggression - But still no wins.
He's not worth the money he's been getting and the game is heading toward much more mobile middles - Which he's not.
If we got him for good money and used him for a bit of bash n barge off the bench - Why not... But at 500+ (More likely 700+) It's a no from me - More of a FK NO!!
Exactly. Pretty similar players. The difference is Lodge for some reason has been massively overrated and overpaid. He’s no worse than Lodge.
I did not make any such insinuation. You did from me saying I don’t want him. And I think it’s plainly obvious why. But you and a couple of others can keep on getting upset coz someone has a different opinion. I will stick to mine. So you can call me ridiculous or say I know nothing about football and blah blah. But it’s still a No to lodge for me. But hey let’s get the band back together. Hopa, Simona, Tandy, JT, Packer they should make all the diff. And once again, no one has claimed he will fix our team despite your previously ridiculous insinuation that we didn’t make the finals because of a rookie Lodge. But he would address a key part of it in which we are severely lacking in. If you can’t see that and want to continue to watch a bunch of low effort pillows in our forward pack, just say that.

Of course cost is a factor but at $100k for the rest of the season I would have him.
Packer NO. Lui, yes.Huh?

They are desperately trying to remain relevant. The Eastern Suburbs is quite a vanilla area in which to live. Exclusive yes but how many Vaucluse, Double Bay or even Potts Point households would follow the Roosters at the best of times? Even less if they are not winning. A fickle market in which to operate with what 2 local juniors?F**cks sake. Roosters spend one week outside the 8 and they lose their minds.
So imagine what the mental state of our leaders are like after 12 years.F**cks sake. Roosters spend one week outside the 8 and they lose their minds.
Yeah I agree. Every situation is different and everyone will have their own moral compass for different indiscretions. I was more commenting on his football. I can’t believe we paid in the reported $600s for him.Packer served punishment which sets him apart from others imo. I don’t agree or forget what he did though
You are correct to point out that a player with Lodge's capability is something we miss ATM.And once again, no one has claimed he will fix our team despite your previously ridiculous insinuation that we didn’t make the finals because of a rookie Lodge. I would say no because even though he tries hard he has little impact during the game and knows how to get penalised more than most.We need grunt and impact and he has neitherFrom https://wwos.nine.com.au/nrl/news-2...ah-pezet/0e7ee259-4444-43d5-8903-9b8857b25142
KIWI VETERAN EYES RETURN TO NRL
Former Kiwi international Elijah Taylor wants to return Down Under to finish his career in the NRL.
An experienced forward with more than 200 top-grade games to his name at the Warriors, Panthers, Tigers and Salford, 32-year-old Taylor is a tackling dynamo and a fine role model off the field.
He has played the past two seasons with Salford, where he has captained the club, and has several Super League clubs chasing him but would prefer to return to the NRL to finish his career.
"I feel I still have something to offer and would love to come back to the NRL," Kiwi-born Taylor told me.
Taylor isn't your average footballer - he is training to become a commercial airline pilot once his playing days are over.
I'd say yes; he gave us great service and we are lacking in his position. Deserves to retire a Tiger!
