Will Sheens see this out?

Sheens was the right man to come here almost 20 years ago and help deliver a premiership but should have been punted about 2009 to a head of football position.Since he has been back the club has been consistently getting worse, imho unless there is a massive improvement by the end of the year he should be sacked by the club for the 2nd time

All Sheen's done since being here is made blunders. Sacking the coach when he did and letting two forwards walk without replacing them, FG squad now looks like they don't want to be there and is trying to sell that to an incoming coach and players.
All the power all good he all also needs to wear the consequences.

Not sure how Sheensy was suppose to polish a turd this year. We were always a bottom 4 roster
The way we're going he'll be mopping up diarrohea for the next decade. We'll look back at the turd-polishing days with fondness.
Probably end up re-hiring Taylor as a result.

Always admired Sheens coaching style and knowledge of the game. Unfortunately his main job now is being a great man and running block for the powerbrokers who will eventually punt him. It’s no way to finish such a great career.

No He will get punted and rightly so he has made a mess of this club since his return , he was out of the nrl for 10 years , game has changes , player attitude changed , money value of players has changed , rules have changed , I did think at first this could be good similar to Gould and Penrith but Gould never left the hear

I am beginning to think Tim Sheens would be regretting his decision to return to the club. He was originally employed in a pathways role before being quickly elevated to ‘king of football’ status. Our powerbrokers seem intent to throw him under the bus for any unpopular decision even when that decision was about to be made when he arrived. He now looks to be the remaining scapegoat and is preparing for 2023 without a head coach.

Will Sheens continue to wear the bruises?

Sheens needs to see this out - He started the crap!!
What are the chances he ends up coaching with Benji and Robbie as assistants?

Jobs for everyone - forever...

Relocation to Perth anyone so can start from the beginning again and clean out all the mess.

One Grand Final win in 22 years and no finals appearance in the last 12 seasons.

Wooden Spoon in 2022. A coaches graveyard.

Time to pull the plug.

So coaching wasn't an issue?

Disagree
Mate if coaches had all the answers then all teams would be successful. They get sacked so under performing clubs look like they are taking action. Our club consistently talks a big game but no one is buying it and sacking coaches makes not one iota of difference if the squad is below the standard of what is needed to be successful.

Of course coaching has a big part

Look at out team, dumb, can't pass, can't kick, tackle.

There's no skill based coaching.

As hard as we ride the players they're human and coachable if they had a good coach.

Not saying they'll do much but room for improvement with a good coach

The powerbrokers, as Buzz calls them, were saying Maguire would be sacked after the next game, then the next 2 games, then by round 8, then any day now, then in the next 24 hours 🤣
Sheens must have had an agreement with the powerbrokers to hold off, because he kept reminding us that it’s not halfway through the season.
Sheens eventually buckled under the pressure. Whichever way you look at this, it’s a failure from Sheens, he blew his first development opportunity right there.
